PUBG IP Drives Growth
PUBG: Battlegrounds recorded its highest-ever annual revenue on PC, growing 16% year-on-year. Engagement rose thanks to collaborations with global artists and luxury brands, with the Porsche partnership in November delivering the strongest performance among all supercar collaborations in PUBG history.
New titles like inZOI and MIMESIS also boosted PC revenue, each surpassing one million units sold since launch.
On mobile, PUBG MOBILE expanded its fanbase with themed modes and World of Wonder updates. BATTLEGROUNDS MOBILE INDIA (BGMI) maintained strong momentum, with paying users increasing by 27% compared to 2024. Krafton emphasized BGMI’s role as a “national game” in India, supported by exclusive skins and local brand partnerships.
Strategy for 2026
Looking ahead, Krafton outlined a roadmap focused on expanding franchise IPs and investing in AI innovation. The company plans to evolve PUBG into a “PUBG 2.0” platform powered by Unreal Engine 5, new game modes, and deeper user-generated content (UGC).
Upcoming PUBG-based projects include Black Budget, PUBG: BLINDSPOT, and the console battle royale Valor.
Beyond PUBG, Krafton is scaling titles like inZOI, Last Epoch, and MIMESIS into long-term franchises. Fifteen new projects are in development, including Subnautica 2, Palworld Mobile, Dinkum Together, and NO LAW.
The company also intends to pursue mergers and acquisitions to secure new IPs, alongside strategic investments and publishing partnerships.
