Mizkif Files Defamation Lawsuit Against Emiru, Asmongold, and OTK

Twitch streamer Matthew “Mizkif” Rinaudo has filed a federal defamation lawsuit against fellow creators Emily “Emiru” Schunk, Zack “Asmongold” Hoyt, and several affiliated companies.

The lawsuit, filed on November 4, 2025, in Texas federal court, also names OTK Media Inc., Mythic Talent Management Inc., and King Gaming Labs Inc. as defendants. According to the complaint, Mizkif alleges that false accusations made during recent livestreams have caused “significant harm to his reputation and career.”

The conflict began on October 24, when Emiru accused Mizkif during a Twitch broadcast of “psychological and domestic abuse, stalking and harassment, sexual assault, and threats of blackmail.” She also claimed she was pursuing a restraining order. Hours later, Mizkif went live to deny the allegations and present his own version of events.

The fallout was swift. OTK Media, the organization Mizkif co-founded, issued a statement clarifying that his ties to the group had "already" been severed. While the group said it “fully supports its co-owner and sister Emiru,” it emphasized that Mizkif’s relationship with OTK had ended “some time ago” for reasons “unrelated to the recent events.” However, the lawsuit claims OTK terminated Rinaudo’s interest in the company, specifically in light of Emiru’s allegations, without investigation or inquiry.

It further alleges that OTK attempted to reclaim millions of shares without compensation and demanded large repayments, including $600,000 in so-called management fees.

“OTK sent Rinaudo a letter purporting to terminate his interest in the company… asserting a number of purported breaches… No such breaches occurred,” the complaint states.

The filing also highlights how Asmongold, another OTK co-founder, repeatedly referred to Mizkif as “the aggressor and abuser” on his own streams. Mizkif’s legal team argues these statements were made “for no purpose other than to harm him, his reputation, and his business, and wrest from him control of the companies that he helped build.”

Beyond the defamation claims, Mizkif is also disputing financial demands. Mythic Talent and King Gaming Labs allege he owes nearly $900,000 in management fees, while Mizkif insists no contractual breaches occurred.

The lawsuit seeks damages for reputational harm, lost earnings, and emotional distress, though no specific dollar figure has been disclosed.

For now, neither Emiru nor Asmongold has issued a public response to the filing. Mizkif himself has remained quiet since his initial stream.
