NA VALORANT Console Open Returns This May with $10K Prize Pool and Bonus Awards

The second edition of the NA VALORANT Console Open tournament will take place from May 16th to 19th, 2025.

This gaming competition welcomes all console players from North America, including those living in the United States, Puerto Rico, Canada, and Mexico.

Players interested in joining the action can now register at the start.gg website. 

The tournament offers a generous $10,000 prize pool, with the winning team set to receive $2,500.

Here's how the prize money will be distributed among the top eight teams:

• 1st Place: $2,500

• 2nd Place: $1,500

• 3rd Place: $1,000

• 4th Place: $1,000

• 5th Place: $500

• 6th Place: $500

• 7th Place: $500

• 8th Place: $500

The Tournament MVP will receive $500, while players with the Best K/D ratio and Best Gameplay Clip will each earn $250.

Players showing exceptional skill with original agents like Breach, Brimstone, Cypher, Jett, and others can win $100 per agent. These special awards will be decided through audience votes, social media polls, and selections made by casters and staff.

The tournament begins with a double elimination open bracket with best-of-one matches during the first two days. The four teams that make it through will then face off in single elimination finals with best-of-three matches to determine the champion.

The daily schedule runs as follows:

• Day 1 (May 16th): Double elimination rounds begin at 4 PM PT

• Day 2 (May 17th): Double elimination continues at 10 AM PT

• Day 3 (May 18th): Single elimination finals start at 10 AM PT

This event builds on the success of January’s inaugural NA VALORANT Console Open, where Team Avengers swept past Alpha Werewolves to take home the title.
