Ninja Gaiden 4 is officially launching on October 21, 2025, marking the long‑awaited return of one of gaming’s most challenging action franchises.
Developed by Team Ninja in collaboration with PlatinumGames, the title brings back the legendary Ryu Hayabusa while introducing a new protagonist, Yakumo of the Raven Clan. Together, they’ll carve their way through a cyberpunk‑infused Tokyo under eternal night, where demons and futuristic chaos collide with traditional ninja brutality.

Launch Date and Global Unlock Times
The game arrives on PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC (Steam and Microsoft Store), with day‑one availability on Xbox Game Pass. According to the PlayStation Store listing, here’s when you can start playing:

Early Access and Review Embargo
Unlike many modern releases, Ninja Gaiden 4 does not include early access. No matter which edition you purchase, you’ll be diving in at the same time as everyone else on October 21.
As for reviews, the embargo lifts on October 20, 2025 — just one day before launch. That means you’ll be able to read critics’ impressions right before deciding whether to jump in.
