The Nintendo Switch 2 has officially received a price increase in Saudi Arabia, reflecting broader shifts in global market conditions.
As of July 8, 2025, the standalone console now retails for SAR 2,149 (approximately $573), up from its previous price of SAR 1,999 ($533). Similarly, the Mario Kart World bundle has also seen a parallel increase, now priced at SAR 2,349 (approximately $626).
This price revision comes through Advanced Initiative Company (AIC), the third-party distributor responsible for handling Nintendo’s products in the Kingdom. While the adjustment may come as a surprise to some, it’s important to note that it applies only to the Nintendo Switch 2 console and bundle — accessories, games, and earlier Switch models remain unaffected.
According to AIC, the move is a direct response to "changing global market conditions".
This isn’t the first market to see a price hike for Nintendo products. Earlier this month, the company also increased prices for Switch and accessories in Canada, citing similar "market conditions" as the reason.
