Sony has officially confirmed the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog titles for November 2025, and the headline addition is none other than Grand Theft Auto V, making yet another return to the service.
With Grand Theft Auto VI now delayed until November 19, 2026, GTA 5’s reappearance feels almost like a consolation prize. And honestly, I don’t mind revisiting it. The game still holds up incredibly well, offering sprawling satire, chaotic heists, and unforgettable characters.

Game Highlights: What to Expect from Each New Title
Grand Theft Auto V
Developed by Rockstar, GTA 5 remains one of the biggest entertainment products ever made, with over 220 million copies sold and a near-perfect Metacritic score of 97. Set in the sprawling fictional city of Los Santos, the game lets players switch between three protagonists, Michael, Franklin, and Trevor, as they pull off heists, outrun the law, and wreak havoc across one of the most detailed open worlds ever created. Even 12 years after launch, its mix of dark humor, cinematic storytelling, and endless player freedom keeps it fresh. If you’ve somehow never tried it, this month’s your best excuse.
Pacific Drive
Developed by Ironwood Studios, this first-person driving survival game drops you into the mysterious Olympic Exclusion Zone of the Pacific Northwest. You’ll use your trusty station wagon as both transportation and lifeline, scavenging resources, upgrading your car, and escaping supernatural anomalies that distort the world around you. Critics loved its atmospheric storytelling and tense car-based gameplay loop, though some players felt the repetition slightly dulled the thrill. Still, it’s one of those games that rewards patience and curiosity, and if you enjoy eerie exploration, you’ll be hooked.
Still Wakes the Deep
From the creators of Everybody’s Gone to the Rapture comes Still Wakes the Deep, a haunting first-person horror experience set on a North Sea oil rig in the 1970s. The story follows Caz McLeary, an engineer trapped in a storm as something far more sinister begins crawling through the rig’s metal corridors. According to critics, The Chinese Room once again nails the emotional horror and tension, with stellar voice acting and an unnerving sense of isolation. The game’s atmosphere alone earned it multiple BAFTA nominations, and while it’s fairly linear, it’s still an unforgettable, chilling journey worth playing with the lights off.
The Talos Principle 2
For puzzle lovers, The Talos Principle 2 by Croteam is a must-play. It continues the philosophical journey of the original with even more complex environmental puzzles and thought-provoking themes about AI, humanity, and consciousness. You’ll explore stunning futuristic landscapes while manipulating lasers, time, and drones to solve intricate challenges. Critics praised its worldbuilding and storytelling, calling it “profound and beautiful,” though some puzzles can get mind-bendingly tough. It’s perfect for players who enjoy games that make you stop and think both logically and existentially.
Thank Goodness You’re Here!
Now for something completely different. Thank Goodness You're Here! is a comedy adventure game set in the fictional Northern English town of Barnsworth. It follows an unnamed, diminutive yellow salesman who arrives in town and gets roped into helping eccentric locals with increasingly bizarre tasks. The game was developed by Coal Supper, a two-person indie studio based in Yorkshire. This is a short, exploration-driven adventure with light platforming and puzzle elements. You control the tiny protagonist in a 2D world that switches between side-scrolling and top-down views, navigating Barnsworth's interconnected streets, buildings, and back alleys. Core actions include walking, jumping, and a versatile "slap" mechanic, used to interact with objects, break items, chat with residents, or trigger animations. The game has been warmly received as a hilarious gem. PC Gamer called it "the best comedy game of 2024," while The Guardian and Video Games Chronicle hailed it as one of the funniest games ever made.
Insurgency: Sandstorm (PS4, PS5)
If you’re into tactical shooters, Insurgency: Sandstorm from New World Interactive remains one of the most realistic and intense multiplayer FPS experiences around. It emphasizes teamwork, communication, and precision over flashy killstreaks. You’ll find no mini-map hand-holding here, just gritty, close-quarters combat with stunning sound design that makes every firefight feel terrifyingly real. It’s a challenging game, no doubt, but for those who stick with it, it’s deeply rewarding.
Monster Jam Showdown
From Italian developer Milestone, Monster Jam Showdown delivers high-octane destruction and over-the-top stunts in massive arenas and open-world courses. Featuring iconic trucks like Grave Digger and Megalodon, this one’s perfect for fans of arcade racing and big metal carnage. Critics praised its vibrant visuals and easy-to-learn controls, calling it one of Milestone’s most accessible and fun racing titles yet.
MotoGP 25
Also from Milestone, MotoGP 25 continues the studio’s long-running simulation of professional motorcycle racing. With updated rosters, dynamic weather, and refined AI, the latest entry pushes the realism even further. However, early reviews have been mixed. Some love the improved visuals and expanded career mode, while others think the handling feels a bit stiff compared to last year. Still, if you’re a motorsport enthusiast, there’s plenty of adrenaline here.
Tomb Raider: Anniversary (Premium)
Premium members get a little nostalgia this month with Tomb Raider: Anniversary. Originally released in 2007, this Crystal Dynamics remake of the 1996 classic reimagines Lara Croft’s first adventure with modern graphics and smoother controls. It captures everything that made the original great: ancient tombs, platforming puzzles, and mythical creatures, while giving it a fresh coat of polish. It’s not perfect (some areas feel smaller than fans remember), but it’s still one of the best ways to experience Lara’s origins.
So, whether you’re planning another chaotic heist in Los Santos or solving metaphysical puzzles in The Talos Principle 2, PlayStation Plus in November 2025 has plenty to keep your thumbs busy.
