GTA 5 is reportedly returning to PlayStation Plus in November 2025, giving PS5 players another chance to revisit Los Santos while waiting for GTA 6.

Rockstar Games and Take-Two Interactive have had a turbulent week. On November 6, Take-Two confirmed that Grand Theft Auto VI has been delayed yet again, now scheduled for November 2026. The announcement immediately impacted the company’s stock, which dropped by nearly 10% in after-hours trading. For fans, the delay was frustrating, but Sony seems to be offering a small consolation: the return of Grand Theft Auto V to the PS Plus catalog.

According to reliable leaker billbil-kun via Dealabs, GTA 5 will be available starting November 18, 2025 for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers. This isn’t the first time the game has appeared on the service. It was previously offered in December 2023 and again in November 2024, each time for a limited run. If history repeats itself, players can expect GTA 5 to remain in the catalog for around six months before cycling out.

Of course, there’s a catch. You’ll need one of the higher PS Plus tiers, Extra or Premium, to access GTA 5. The Essentials tier won’t include it, so if you’re planning to jump back into GTA Online or replay the campaign, make sure your subscription is upgraded.

Sony is expected to officially announce the November PS Plus lineup around November 12, 2025, following its usual schedule of reveals. Until then, this leak gives us a good idea of what’s coming, and if billbil-kun’s track record is anything to go by, he previously leaked Stray joining PS Plus and even the price of the Xbox ROG Ally, this information is likely accurate.
