Sony has officially confirmed the PlayStation Plus monthly games lineup for November 2025, and it matches the leak that surfaced earlier this week.
The headline addition is Stray, the beloved cat adventure from BlueTwelve Studio and Annapurna Interactive. Joining it are EA Sports WRC 24 and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS).
All three titles will be available to PlayStation Plus Essential, Extra, and Premium subscribers starting November 4, 2025, and will remain claimable until December 1, 2025.

Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS) (PS4, PS5)
Stray – A Cat’s Journey Through a Cybercity
If you’ve somehow missed the buzz around Stray, let me catch you up. Developed by BlueTwelve Studio, a small French team founded by former Ubisoft artists, and published by Annapurna Interactive, Stray first launched in July 2022. It quickly became one of the most talked-about indie titles of the decade.
In Stray, you step into the paws of a lost cat navigating a decaying cyberpunk city. The world is populated not by humans, but by robots and hostile creatures known as Zurks. Gameplay revolves around exploration, puzzle-solving, and light stealth. You climb rooftops, leap across neon-lit alleys, scratch furniture, and interact with quirky droid inhabitants. Along the way, your drone companion B-12 helps you hack doors, translate robot speech, and even fend off enemies with a special weapon.
What makes Stray stand out isn’t just the novelty of playing as a cat—it’s the atmosphere. The game’s world design, inspired by Kowloon Walled City, feels alive and layered. Critics praised its emotional storytelling, art direction, and soundtrack. According to reviews aggregated on Metacritic, it holds a score in the low 80s, while OpenCritic shows an 85% recommendation rate. Players themselves were even more enthusiastic, often describing it as a “work of art” that delivers a surprisingly emotional punch in just 5–7 hours.
The game went on to win Best Independent Game at The Game Awards 2022 and earned nine BAFTA nominations. For many, it’s one of those rare titles that blends charm, melancholy, and curiosity into something unforgettable. If you haven’t played it yet, this PlayStation Plus drop is the perfect excuse.
EA Sports WRC 24 – Rally Racing at Full Throttle
The second game in November’s lineup is EA Sports WRC 24, an expansion to the base EA Sports WRC that Codemasters launched in 2023. Released in October 2024, this update added new rallies, cars, and features to an already ambitious rally simulator.
At its core, WRC 24 is about authenticity. It features over 78 licensed cars, including Rally1 hybrids like the Ford Puma and Toyota GR Yaris, alongside classics from past eras. Players can race across 200+ stages in 18 real-world rallies, with Latvia and Poland added in the 2024 expansion.
The game offers a variety of modes:
Career Mode for long-term progression
Multiplayer supporting up to 32 players
Car Builder for designing your own rally machine
Moments Mode to recreate iconic events from WRC history
Handling is where Codemasters shines. The physics system emphasizes precision, with co-driver calls, weather changes, and terrain shifts all impacting performance. It’s a demanding sim, but one that rewards skill and patience.
Reception has been mixed but generally positive. Critics praised the realism and depth, though some players noted launch bugs and performance issues, especially on PC. Still, patches and updates have improved stability, and the expansion content has been well received. If you’re into motorsport, this is a solid addition to your library.
Totally Accurate Battle Simulator – Chaos in Motion
Rounding out the lineup is Totally Accurate Battle Simulator (TABS), developed by Landfall Games. If Stray is emotional and WRC 24 is serious, TABS is pure chaos.
This physics-based strategy game lets you pit armies of wobbly ragdoll fighters against each other. With over 130 units across 14 factions, you can create absurd matchups: Vikings versus samurai, knights versus skeletons, or even custom units you design yourself.
The game includes:
Campaign Mode with budget-limited battles
Sandbox Mode for unlimited experimentation
Multiplayer to test your creations against friends
Unit Possession to directly control fighters in first or third person
Workshop support for custom maps and units
The appeal of TABS lies in its unpredictability. Battles unfold with hilarious physics, as units stumble, flail, and collapse in unexpected ways. It’s less about strategy and more about enjoying the spectacle.
Since its full release in 2021, TABS has built a loyal fanbase. Reviews highlight its replayability, humor, and accessibility. On Metacritic, it holds a user score around 7.8, with many praising it as a “brilliantly simple” sandbox for emergent comedy.
