Palworld Announces ULTRAKILL Crossover and Cozy Farming Spin-Off

Pocketpair has confirmed that Palworld is getting a crossover with the fast-paced retro shooter ULTRAKILL, while also announcing a new spin-off game called Palfarm.

What’s in the Palworld x ULTRAKILL Crossover?

According to Pocketpair’s latest update, weapons and gear from ULTRAKILL will be making their way into Palworld. While details are still light, promotional material hints that V1, the protagonist of ULTRAKILL, is set to land on the Palpagos Islands to “raise hell.”

This is the second major crossover for Palworld, following the earlier Tides of Terraria update that introduced new Pals, weapons, armor, and even a dungeon. If that update is any indication, players can likely expect the ULTRAKILL collaboration to be similar in scope.

For those unfamiliar, ULTRAKILL is a blood-soaked retro-inspired FPS where players harness enemy blood as fuel while tearing through legions of Hell. On paper, it sounds like the opposite of Palworld’s “cozy life with Pals” premise, but given that Palworld already features a surprising amount of gunplay, the crossover feels less outlandish than it first appears.

Release timing hasn’t been shared yet, but Pocketpair has promised that the collaboration will deliver “a chaotic new gameplay experience like never before.” Until then, players can only speculate on how deep the crossover will run.

Alongside the crossover news, Pocketpair revealed Palfarm, a brand-new spin-off that trades in survival and monster battles for a slower, more relaxing farming experience.

The announcement comes just days after Nintendo unveiled its own farming sim, Pokopia. Announced during a Nintendo Direct on September 12, it marks the franchise's first foray into the cozy, slow-paced genre inspired by titles like Animal Crossing or Stardew Valley.

Unsurprisingly, Palfarm’s debut drew immediate comparisons. Social media lit up with jokes that Pocketpair is “trolling” Nintendo, with one user quipping, “Pokopia? Meet Palfarm… they just trolling now.”

The playful jabs come against the backdrop of a much more serious rivalry: Nintendo has already pursued legal action against Pocketpair over the similarities between Palworld and Pokémon. Yet despite the lawsuit, Pocketpair seems determined to branch out.

In Palfarm, players can farm, fish, and build their dream homestead while interacting with familiar Pals in new ways. The reveal trailer features Cattiva, a Pal who dreams of paying off their debt by starting a farm. Longtime players will also recognize the Black Marketeer, who returns with his shady dealings intact.

According to its Steam page, Palfarm will support multiplayer, allowing friends to manage farms together. Currently, no release window has been shared.

Palworld remains in Early Access on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, and PC via Steam and Microsoft Store, and is also available through Game Pass. A full launch is expected in early 2026.
