Sony has confirmed the next batch of games leaving PlayStation Plus Extra and Premium, and for once, it’s a shorter list than usual. Following a month of criticism over May’s lopsided additions and removals—22 games out, just 10 added—June is shaping up to be a bit gentler, with only six games set to exit the catalog.
Leaving PS Plus in June 2025:
Monster Hunter Rise
After Us
Kayak VR: Mirage
Rogue Legacy 2
Inscryption
AVICII Invector
Let’s break down what each of these games brings to the table—and why you might want to play them before they vanish from the service.
Monster Hunter Rise
Developer: Capcom
Genre: Action RPG
Set in the scenic village of Kamura, this action-packed RPG lets players take down towering monsters using a deep weapon system and innovative traversal mechanics like the Wirebug. It’s a content-rich experience solo or in co-op, especially with the Sunbreak expansion.
After Us
Developer: Piccolo Studio
Genre: Adventure / Platformer
A post-apocalyptic platformer where you play as Gaia, the spirit of life, working to revive extinct animal souls. With emotional storytelling and surreal environments, After Us offers a reflective take on environmental collapse and human legacy.
Kayak VR: Mirage
Developer: Better Than Life
Genre: VR Simulation
Paddle through stunning natural environments in this ultra-immersive VR kayaking sim. With lifelike water physics and peaceful scenery—from icy fjords to jungle rivers—Kayak VR: Mirage is a must-play for PS VR2 owners before it exits.
Rogue Legacy 2
Developer: Cellar Door Games
Genre: Roguelike Platformer
This sequel expands on the original’s lineage-based gameplay, where each new hero inherits traits (and quirks) from the last. Tight platforming, clever class systems, and persistent upgrades make this one of the best roguelikes around.
Inscryption
Developer: Daniel Mullins Games
Genre: Deckbuilder / Puzzle / Horror
A genre-bending mind trip that blends card battles, escape-room puzzles, and a chilling story full of surprises. If you like psychological twists and meta-narratives, this is your last call to dive into Inscryption.
AVICII Invector
Developer: Hello There Games
Genre: Rhythm / Music
A heartfelt tribute to the late DJ Avicii, this rhythm game lets you ride the beat across cosmic landscapes. It features his biggest tracks, multiple difficulty settings, and multiplayer options—ideal for both casual fans and rhythm pros.
When Will These Games Leave?
These titles are expected to disappear from PS Plus around June 18, 2025, in line with the usual rotation schedule. Once gone, they’ll only be available for purchase separately unless re-added in the future.
