PlayStation Plus Game Catalog for September 2026 Adds WWE 2K26, RuneScape: Dragonwilds, and More
Sony has confirmed the full PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for September 2026, bringing 8 new titles for Extra and Premium members alongside two classic additions for Premium subscribers.
All titles will be available from September 15.

Key Highlights
WWE 2K26 is the headline addition for September. Developed by Visual Concepts and published by 2K, the game launched in March 2026 with CM Punk as the cover star. It brings one of the largest rosters the series has ever assembled, with over 400 playable wrestlers spanning current Superstars and Legends from the Attitude Era, including names like The Rock, John Cena, Triple H, and Rhea Ripley. The in-ring gameplay has been widely praised as the best-feeling the series has delivered in years, with refined stamina and dodge mechanics, improved physics, and the return of several fan-favourite match types including Dumpster, Inferno, and 3 Stages of Hell. It holds an OpenCritic score of around 79. Criticism has pointed at its iterative nature and aggressive monetisation through the Ringside Pass, but as a pure wrestling experience it stands as a strong entry.
RuneScape: Dragonwilds, developed and published by Jagex, is launching its full 1.0 version on the same day it arrives in the PS Plus catalog, September 15. It is a cooperative survival RPG set in the RuneScape universe on a new island called Ashenfall, supporting one to four players with crossplay across platforms. Players gather resources, craft gear, build bases, and level skills in classic RuneScape fashion, while battling dragons and familiar enemies from the franchise. The game spent over a year in Early Access on PC, where it built a strong reputation, holding a Very Positive rating on Steam from close to 29,000 reviews. This marks its console debut.
Ninja Gaiden: Ragebound is arguably the most critically acclaimed title in this month's catalog. Developed by The Game Kitchen, the studio behind Blasphemous, and published by Dotemu under licence from Koei Tecmo, it launched in July 2025 as a 2D side-scrolling revival of the classic Ninja Gaiden series. Players control Kenji Mozu through pixel-art stages filled with tight melee combat, stylish Guillotine Boost mechanics, and challenging but fair difficulty. It earned an OpenCritic score of 86 with a 92% recommendation rate and a 9/10 from IGN, and has been widely regarded as one of the best 2D action games of 2025.
Ball x Pit, developed by Kenny Sun and published by Devolver Digital, is a genre-blending roguelite that combines brick-breaker mechanics with base building and hero recruitment. Players ricochet and fuse balls through a pit while expanding a homestead between runs and experimenting with deep build combinations. It launched in October 2025 and has since earned an Overwhelmingly Positive rating on Steam from over 26,000 reviews, alongside an 84 on Metacritic and a 9/10 from IGN. It received its final free content update, titled The Naturalist, in August 2026, making this a complete and well-supported experience.
Dungeons of Hinterberg, developed by Microbird Games and published by Curve Games, is a cosy Zelda-like adventure set in an Austrian Alpine town that has turned dungeon-delving into a tourist attraction. Players control burned-out lawyer Luisa, splitting time between exploring unique puzzle-heavy dungeons during the day and socialising with townsfolk in the evenings to unlock perks. It originally launched on PC and Xbox in mid-2024 before arriving on PlayStation in March 2025. It has been warmly received for its creative dungeon design and surprisingly sharp take on contemporary themes around work and leisure.
Slitterhead, developed and published by Bokeh Game Studio, comes from Keiichiro Toyama, the creator of Silent Hill, Siren, and Gravity Rush. Released in November 2024, it is an action-horror title set in a neon-lit, Kowloon-inspired city where players control a formless spirit that possesses civilians and battles brain-eating monsters using blood-based weapons. The soundtrack is composed by Akira Yamaoka of Silent Hill fame. Reception has been mixed, with the possession mechanic and atmosphere earning praise while repetitive mission structure drew criticism. It is a niche but genuinely distinctive experience for players who enjoy bold creative swings.
Sniper Elite: Resistance, developed and published by Rebellion, released in January 2025 as a spin-off set in 1944 France. Players take on the role of SOE agent Harry Hawker across large sandbox missions with the series' signature X-ray kill-cam, stealth-tactical gameplay, and co-op support. It closely follows the template of Sniper Elite 5 and has been received as a solid if familiar entry in the series, best suited for existing fans.
Date Everything!, developed by Sassy Chap Games and published by Team17, is a comedy dating sim that launched in June 2025. The premise involves a spilled bottle of sentient date juice that brings everyday household objects to life as romanceable characters, from toasters to lamps. It is dialogue-heavy, joke-forward, and has earned a reputation for executing its absurd concept with more heart and writing quality than most would expect.
On the Premium side, two classic titles arrive alongside the main catalog on September 15. Mega Man X Command Mission, originally a PS2 release from Capcom in 2004, is the only turn-based RPG in the Mega Man X lineage. It follows X, Zero, and Axl infiltrating the island of Giga City to quell a Reploid rebellion, with a three-character party system and a campaign of around 15 to 20 hours. Reception at the time was mixed, though it has since developed a following among fans of the series.
Metro Redux, meanwhile, is the remastered double pack of Metro 2033 and Metro: Last Light from 4A Games, considered the definitive way to experience the first two entries in the series. Given that Metro Exodus was added to the catalog last month, this is a well-timed opportunity for players to go back to the beginning of Artyom's story.
