Sony has confirmed the full PlayStation Plus Game Catalog lineup for August 2026. Helldivers 2 headlines the batch and is available starting today, with the rest of the lineup rolling out across August 18 and August 25.
Extra and Premium subscribers get 9 new titles in total, while Premium members also receive two classic games through the Classics Catalog.

Key Highlights
Helldivers 2 is the clear headline addition this month and is already live in the catalog. Developed by Arrowhead Game Studios, the cooperative third-person shooter launched in early 2024 and went on to become PlayStation's fastest-selling game ever, moving around 20 million copies since release. Players take on the role of elite soldiers spreading Managed Democracy across the galaxy, battling alien threats in chaotic, friendly-fire-enabled co-op missions for up to four players.
The timing of its PS Plus arrival is not coincidental. Today also marks the launch of a major new expansion called Devoid of Liberty, which tasks players with venturing into the Void to destroy Illuminate spires, complete reconnaissance missions, and face new enemy types. According to the developer, the expansion also introduces 300 new ranks with fresh titles and privileges. Alongside the catalog drop, the Helldivers 2 community has been challenged to collectively eliminate 500 million enemies by August 18 to unlock four exclusive PlayStation avatars.
Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2, developed by Warhorse Studios and published by Deep Silver, is the other major draw this month. Released in February 2025, it picks up directly after the events of the original and follows Henry of Skalitz through a significantly larger open world spanning two major regions of 15th-century Bohemia. The game retains the series' commitment to historical authenticity and realistic first-person combat, while meaningfully improving on the polish and pacing that some found uneven in the first entry. It earned an OpenCritic score of around 89 with a 95% recommendation rate and is widely considered one of the standout RPGs of 2025. For anyone who played through the original, which was added to the PS Plus catalog back in June 2026, this is a well-timed follow-up.
Vampire Survivors, developed and published by poncle, is a roguelike phenomenon that has built one of the most dedicated player bases in recent indie history since its full release in late 2022. The gameplay loop is deceptively simple: players move through waves of enemies while their character attacks automatically, levelling up and selecting weapon combinations that can snowball into extraordinary chaos. It is one of those games that is nearly impossible to stop playing once it clicks, and its console debut through PS Plus gives a whole new audience the chance to find out why. It holds near-universal acclaim across platforms.
Hell is Us, developed by Rogue Factor and published by Nacon, launched in September 2025 and takes a notably different approach to third-person action. Playing as Rémi, a UN peacekeeper searching for his missing parents in a war-torn country overrun by supernatural creatures, players navigate an intentionally unguided world with no maps, quest markers, or objective arrows. The game rewards careful observation and exploration over hand-holding. It earned an OpenCritic score of around 78, with the atmospheric world design and exploration philosophy drawing most of the praise.
Two Point Museum, developed by Two Point Studios and published by Sega, is a business management sim that launched in March 2025 and has since been recognised as the strongest entry in the Two Point series. Players design and run museums across a variety of themed exhibits, send expeditions to recover artefacts, manage staff and visitor satisfaction, and deal with the series' signature British humour throughout. It holds a 9/10 from IGN and is Overwhelmingly Positive on Steam, making it a genuine sleeper pick for players who enjoy management games.
Metro Exodus, developed by 4A Games and published by Deep Silver, originally launched in 2019 and remains one of the best atmospheric shooters of the last decade. Following Artyom and his crew across a ruined post-apocalyptic Russia aboard the Aurora train, the game blends tense survival mechanics, resource-scarce combat, and semi-open level design with a richly crafted world. It holds around an 82 on Metacritic and continues to be recommended as an essential first-person experience, particularly for players who have not yet touched the Metro series.
Dying Light 2 Stay Human, developed and published by Techland, launched in February 2022 as the follow-up to the original Dying Light, which appeared in last month's catalog. Set in a massive vertical city called Villedor, the game doubles down on parkour traversal and melee combat while adding faction-based story choices and a more complex open world. Reception was mixed at launch, largely due to technical issues and uneven storytelling, but subsequent updates and the Reloaded Edition significantly improved the experience. For players who enjoyed the original through last month's PS Plus update, this is a natural next step.
Umamusume Pretty Derby: Party Dash, developed by Cygames and Arc System Works, is a lightweight pixel-art party game based on the popular horse-girl franchise. Players compete across four mini-game events in a colourful, chaotic grand prix format. It supports local and online multiplayer and is best approached as a fun, low-stakes group experience rather than a deep solo offering.
On the Premium side, two classic titles arrive on August 18. Onimusha: Dawn of Dreams, originally a PS2 release from Capcom in 2006, is a hack-and-slash set in feudal Japan featuring multiple playable characters, each with distinct combat styles, battling demonic forces across a lengthy campaign. It earned an 81 on Metacritic at launch and an 8.8 from IGN, and is regarded as one of the stronger entries in the Onimusha series.
Disney's Atlantis: The Lost Empire, originally released on PlayStation in 2001, is a 3D action-adventure platformer based on the animated film, now enhanced with up-rendering, rewind, quick save, and custom video filters through the PS Plus Premium treatment.
