During the latest PlayStation State of Play, Sony unveiled the next wave of titles headed to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog this summer—including several day-one releases and a batch of retro classics.
From Remedy’s upcoming co-op shooter to a new project from the creator of Abzu, there’s plenty to look forward to. Here's everything confirmed so far.

June 17
FBC: Firebreak (PS5)
Remedy’s cooperative shooter set in the Control universe arrives day one on PS Plus Extra and Premium. Expect intense supernatural firefights, tactical gameplay, and a continuation of Remedy’s mind-bending narrative style.
Deus Ex (PS2 Classic)
A genre-defining cyberpunk RPG originally released in 2000, now available through PS Plus Premium with modern emulation support. A must-play for fans of immersive sims.
July 15
Twisted Metal 3 & Twisted Metal 4 (PS1 Classics)
The chaotic car combat series returns to PS Plus Premium with these two fan-favorite entries. Expect wild arenas, over-the-top vehicles, and plenty of nostalgia.
Summer 2025 (Date TBA)
Resident Evil 2 & Resident Evil 3 (PS1 Classics)
The original PlayStation versions of Capcom’s survival horror hits will be available on PS Plus Premium later this summer, offering a retro counterpoint to the popular modern remakes.
August 19
Sword of the Sea (PS5)
From the visionary artist behind Abzu and The Pathless, this serene, stylized adventure invites players to surf through a mystical desert landscape. Featuring music by Journey composer Austin Wintory, this is another day-one addition for PS Plus Extra and Premium subscribers.
Bonus Additions in June
As part of Sony’s Days of Play celebration, both Myst and its sequel Riven will be added to the PS Plus catalog later this month. These iconic puzzle-adventure titles continue to captivate players with their atmospheric worlds and intricate logic.
Subscription Requirements
Day-one titles like FBC: Firebreak and Sword of the Sea require an Extra or Premium PS Plus subscription.
Classic PS1 and PS2 games such as Deus Ex, Resident Evil, and Twisted Metal are exclusive to PS Plus Premium subscribers.
