Sony has revealed the PlayStation Plus monthly games for December 2025, and this time subscribers are getting a little extra holiday cheer. Instead of the usual three titles, the lineup features five games, spanning family-friendly adventures, horror experiences, stylish speedrunners, and sci-fi shooters.
Whether you’re on Essential, Extra, or Premium, these games will be available starting Tuesday, December 2, and remain on the service until Monday, January 5, 2026.
The lineup includes:
LEGO Horizon Adventures (PS5)
Killing Floor 3 (PS5)
The Outlast Trials (PS4/PS5)
Synduality Echo of Ada (PS5)
Neon White (PS4/PS5)

Let’s break down what each game brings to the table, because there’s a lot of variety here.
LEGO Horizon Adventures
Developed by Guerrilla Games and Studio Gobo in partnership with The LEGO Group, this title reimagines Horizon Zero Dawn in a colorful LEGO world. Released in November 2024, it offers third-person action with destructible brick environments, customization options for Aloy, and five difficulty levels. You can play solo or with a friend thanks to drop-in/drop-out co-op.
Critics gave it mixed reviews, with a Metascore of 70. While many praised its charm and visuals, others felt the gameplay was too linear and repetitive. Fans echoed similar concerns, with a user score of 5.8. Still, if you’re looking for something lighthearted to play with family or friends, this could be a fun pick.
Killing Floor 3
If LEGO bricks aren’t your thing, Killing Floor 3 takes you in the opposite direction. Developed by Tripwire Interactive, this first-person survival horror shooter launched in July 2025. Players face waves of grotesque “Zeds” while using class-specific weapons and abilities. The game supports solo play and up to six-player online co-op, with scaling difficulty depending on team size.
Reception has been mixed, with critics noting solid co-op shooting mechanics but criticizing repetitive modes. The Metascore sits at 68, while fans gave it a 6.5.
The Outlast Trials
For those of us who still enjoy a good scare, The Outlast Trials is here to keep the spooky season alive. Developed by Red Barrels, this Cold War-era survival horror game focuses on stealth, traps, and limited resources. You can play solo or with up to three friends, making it a unique co-op horror experience.
The full release arrived in March 2024 after a lengthy early access period. Critics generally praised its innovation in multiplayer horror, giving it a Metascore of 75. Fans were even more positive, with a user score of 7.7. If you’re into tense, nerve-wracking gameplay, this one is worth adding to your library.
Synduality Echo of Ada
Next up is Synduality Echo of Ada, a sci-fi extraction shooter published by Bandai Namco Entertainment. Released in January 2025, the game lets you pilot mechs called “Drifters” in a post-apocalyptic world while collecting AO crystals and battling hostile creatures known as Enders. You’re joined by android companions called Magus, who add tactical depth to missions.
While the concept is exciting, reviews have been mixed. Critics gave it a Metascore of 65, praising the combat but criticizing grind-heavy progression and weak storytelling. Fans were less forgiving, with a user score of 4.0. Still, if you enjoy mech combat and extraction-style gameplay, this could be a sleeper hit for you.
Neon White
Finally, we have Neon White, developed by Angel Matrix and published by Annapurna Interactive. Originally released in 2022, this stylish first-person shooter/puzzle-platformer focuses on speedrunning. Players use card-based weapons with discardable abilities to clear levels as quickly as possible, earning medals and unlocking challenges.
Critics loved it, with a Metascore of 89 and praise for its innovative design and anime-inspired flair. Fans were equally enthusiastic, giving it a user score of 8.3 and “Overwhelmingly Positive” reviews on Steam. If you’re into fast-paced gameplay and stylish visuals, this is easily the standout of the December lineup.
Final Thoughts
As a reminder, you only have until Monday, December 1 to claim November’s lineup—Stray, EA Sports WRC 24, and Totally Accurate Battle Simulator—before they rotate out.
