PlayStation Plus will be removing 9 games from its catalog (Extra and Premium) in December 2025.

The "Last Chance to Play" section has now been updated, confirming which titles will be removed next month.
Among the departing games, Battlefield 2042 stands out. This isn’t surprising either, as every Battlefield series has been leaving the catalog regularly since the launch of Battlefield 6. First, the service lost Battlefield 1 in October, and then in November, Battlefield 5.
Alongside it, we’ll also be saying goodbye to Forspoken, Grand Theft Auto III, and Sonic Frontiers, all titles that have their fair share of fans.
Surprisingly, GTA 3 is leaving just as GTA 5 was added to the service in this month's catalog.
Here’s the full list of games leaving PS Plus in December 2025:
Battlefield 2042
Grand Theft Auto III (GTA III)
Forspoken
Surviving Mars
Sonic Frontiers
Star Wars: Tales from the Galaxy’s Edge
Firefighting Simulator: The Squad
Star Trek: The Bridge
Arcade Paradise VR
If you haven’t tried these yet, now’s the perfect time. Most of the time, games are removed around the middle of the month (likely on December 17 or 18), so you still have about a month to catch up. Most can be finished in under 25 hours.
On the brighter side, Red Dead Redemption will be added to the PlayStation Plus Game Catalog (PS4/PS5) in December.
