Highlights

  • Resident Evil Village: Capcom’s eighth mainline entry in the legendary horror franchise. Players step into Ethan Winters’ shoes as he searches for his kidnapped daughter in a chilling European village. With Resident Evil Requiem set to release on February 27, 2026, this is the perfect time to revisit Village before the next chapter arrives.

  • Like a Dragon: Infinite Wealth: Sega’s acclaimed RPG continues Ichiban Kasuga and Kazuma Kiryu’s saga across Yokohama, Honolulu, and Kamurochō. With its turn-based combat, job system, and expansive side content, Infinite Wealth has been praised for its depth and storytelling, earning a perfect 40/40 from Famitsu.

  • A Quiet Place: The Road Ahead: Stormind Games delivers a tense survival horror experience set in the A Quiet Place universe. Players must rely on stealth and careful sound management to avoid deadly aliens with hypersensitive hearing. With optional microphone detection adding immersion, the game received mixed reviews but was praised for its faithful adaptation of the film’s atmosphere.

  • Darkest Dungeon II: Red Hook Studios’ roguelike RPG continues the legacy of its predecessor with a stagecoach journey through a decaying world. Featuring turn-based combat, stress and relationship management, and branching choices at inns and shrines, the game challenges players to endure repeated runs. Reception was generally favorable, with critics highlighting its tactical depth and progression system.

  • The Exit 8: Kotake Create’s psychological horror walking simulator places players in a looping Japanese subway corridor, where spotting subtle anomalies is the key to escape. Its minimalist design and escalating tension earned praise for atmosphere and realism, though its short length and limited replayability drew criticism. Still, it became a cult hit and won design awards in Japan.

  • Art of Rally: Funselektor Labs’ stylized rally racer pays homage to the golden era of rally, including Group B cars. With a top-down perspective, career progression, free roam exploration, and daily challenges, the game blends authenticity with artistic flair. Critics praised its handling and visual style, making it a standout indie racing experience despite mixed performance on Switch.

  • A Little to the Left: Max Inferno’s cozy puzzle game invites players to organize household objects in creative ways, with multiple valid solutions across levels. Its relaxing vibe and charming presentation resonated with audiences, earning generally favorable reviews across platforms. The game became a go-to for players seeking a calm, casual experience.

  • Expeditions: A MudRunner Game: Saber Interactive’s off-road simulation takes players into rugged wilderness environments like Arizona deserts and the Carpathian mountains. Using tools such as drones, winches, and echo sounders, players tackle challenging terrain while expanding base camps. The game earned favorable reviews for its demanding navigation and exploration focus, though some critics noted underdeveloped features.

Departures on January 20

As new games arrive, four titles will leave the Extra and Premium catalog:

  • Like a Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name

  • Monopoly Plus

  • Sayonara Wild Hearts

  • SD Gundam Battle Alliance

Like a Dragon Gaiden serves as a coda to Kiryu’s saga, Monopoly Plus delivers a faithful digital board game experience, Sayonara Wild Hearts provides a stylish rhythm adventure, and SD Gundam Battle Alliance offers mech-based RPG action.
