Tactical shooter Ready or Not has officially crossed 2 million copies sold on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S, just over two weeks since its console debut on July 15.

Developed by independent studio VOID Interactive, the game saw explosive success early on, hitting the 1 million mark within its first four days.

With this, Ready or Not has now sold over 11 million copies across all platforms, including its earlier PC release.

In a statement celebrating the milestone, VOID Interactive CEO Julio Rodriguez thanked the community and the team behind the game:

“Thank you to the players for showing up, playing hard, and bringing order to chaos... To the VOID dev team for building what we believe is the quintessential tactical FPS of our era — and to our friends and partners for helping us bring RON to console. More updates and content ahead.”

Ready or Not puts players in the boots of SWAT officers responding to dangerous, high-stakes situations — from hostage rescues to bomb threats. With a focus on realism, teamwork, and tense scenarios, the game has been praised for its immersive tactical gameplay. The console version also supports crossplay, allowing friends to squad up regardless of platform.

Critically, the game is holding strong with an 82 score on both PS5 and Xbox Series X|S, according to Metacritic.

However, not all news is ideal for fans. As confirmed by VOID Interactive on X (formerly Twitter), the physical edition of Ready or Not has been delayed in the U.S., and will now release on September 26, 2025, instead of the originally planned August 8 date. The studio says it needs "a bit of extra time" to complete the rollout. Meanwhile, players in the European Union are still on track to receive their physical copies on August 8.
