Resident Evil Requiem x Fortnite: How to Get the Grace Ashcroft Skin for Free

The Grace Ashcroft skin from Resident Evil is officially coming to Fortnite, and yes, you can grab it for free if you know how.

Epic Games and Capcom have confirmed that players who pre-order Resident Evil: Requiem through the Epic Games Store before February 27, 2026, at 11:59 PM ET will receive the Grace Ashcroft outfit in Fortnite at no extra cost.

How to Claim the Skin

The process is straightforward: pre-order either the Standard ($69.99) or Deluxe Edition ($79.99) of Resident Evil: Requiem on the Epic Games Store, and the Grace Ashcroft skin will be automatically tied to your Fortnite account.

Grace is the FBI agent protagonist of Requiem, investigating the haunted Wrenwood Hotel in a post-apocalyptic Raccoon City. It’s a cool crossover that lets you take her straight into Fortnite’s battle royale chaos.

NOTE: You’ll need to pre-order the game while logged into the same Epic Games account you use for Fortnite. The offer isn't available for preorder on Steam or any other store.

When You’ll Get It

Although your pre-order qualifies you instantly, the outfit won’t appear in Fortnite until March 2026. Epic is clearly timing this to build hype around Requiem’s release while keeping Fortnite players engaged with fresh cosmetics.

If you miss the pre-order window, don’t worry, you’ll still be able to buy the skin later in the Item Shop, though it will cost you V-Bucks (normally 1,500 V-Bucks) instead of being free.

Epic has also teased that more Fortnite items will join the Grace bundle, such as themed back blings, pickaxes, and emotes. According to reliable Fortnite leaker HYPEX, older Resident Evil skins like Leon Kennedy are also expected to return during the full crossover.

Grace Ashcroft joins an already impressive Resident Evil lineup in Fortnite, which includes Chris Redfield, Jill Valentine, Leon Kennedy, and Claire Redfield.

Resident Evil: Requiem launches on February 27, 2026, for PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, Nintendo Switch 2, and PC.
