Capcom Confirms Resident Evil Requiem Pre-Order Date and Anniversary Video

Resident Evil Requiem is scheduled to launch on February 27, 2026, and fans now have a date to lock in their pre-orders.

According to Capcom, pre-orders for the next mainline entry will officially open on October 29, 2025, alongside a special video celebrating the long-running survival horror series.

While Capcom has already confirmed that no new Requiem gameplay will be shown, the video is still expected to be a highlight for long-time fans.

That doesn’t mean there won’t be surprises. Rumors of remakes for Resident Evil 0, Resident Evil 5, and Code Veronica have been circulating for months, and many are speculating that October’s showcase could be the perfect stage for a reveal.

On top of that, the upcoming Resident Evil film, directed by Zach Cregger (Weapons), is currently in production, so there’s always a chance we’ll get a first look at that project too.
