Sloclap, the developer of the third-person football game Rematch, has officially partnered with "Toornament" to launch a dedicated esports platform for the title.

Toornament, an established esports tournament management solution, will serve as the official platform powering Rematch competitions.

Through its white-label integration, Toornament enables game developers to embed a fully customizable tournament interface into their games while maintaining consistent branding and user experience.

In the case of Rematch, this integration means players can now manage every aspect of their competitive participation within the game’s interface. The platform allows users to register for tournaments, manage teams, submit match results, and track performance via public profile pages in one place.

As of now, the Rematch esports hub is live, featuring several tournaments across both PC and console platforms. These events include prize incentives, such as in-game rewards, to encourage participation and community engagement. Where is the check? Here is the official site link.

In a statement, Sylvian Maillard, Marketing and Communication Manager at Toornament, expressed confidence in the initiative, noting that “hundreds of organizers have already expressed their interest” in supporting Rematch tournaments. Maillard confirmed that “dozens of tournaments” are scheduled to roll out in the coming weeks, with both official and community-run events also planned.

The Toornament platform offers a robust suite of tools not only for players but also for organizers. It supports events of all sizes and formats, with features that include automatic match generation, real-time bracket updates, participant communication tools, and match reporting systems. Organizers can also highlight their tournaments for discoverability and integrate them into the game's native UI, thanks to the white-label support.

Rematch has experienced rapid growth since its release, reportedly attracting over 1 million unique players in its first 24 hours and recording a peak of 92,841 concurrent users on Steam, based on data from SteamDB. Its emphasis on skill-based mechanics and dynamic, stylized visuals has positioned it as a notable alternative in the football gaming genre, offering a fresh experience alongside titles like EA Sports FC.
