The release marks the beginning of a new chapter for fans of the hit webtoon and anime, as the game is built specifically for PC and console audiences rather than being a port of the mobile version.

Console players on PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S will get their turn in 2026, but for now, PC gamers are the first to dive in.

For those who purchased the Deluxe Edition, early access began on November 21, giving them a three-day head start.

The global launch time is now set as follows:

  • New York (EST): 12:00 PM

  • Los Angeles (PST): 09:00 AM

  • London (GMT): 05:00 PM

  • Berlin (CET): 06:00 PM

  • Moscow (MSK): 08:00 PM

  • Dubai (GST): 09:00 PM

  • New Delhi (IST): 10:30 PM

  • Beijing (CST): 01:00 AM (Nov 25)

  • Seoul/Tokyo (JST): 02:00 AM (Nov 25)

  • Sydney/Auckland (AEDT): 04:00 AM (Nov 25)

What Makes ARISE OVERDRIVE Different

Netmarble has emphasized that this is a premium PC/console project, not a simple adaptation. The game introduces a no-gacha progression system, deeper combat mechanics, weapon crafting, and expanded customization options. Players can expect ten story chapters at launch, four-player co-op, and a redesigned world map that blends webtoon aesthetics with realistic visuals.

Early Reviews

Reception so far has been mixed:

  • Final Weapon scored the game 8/10, praising its action-packed combat, immersive story, and the removal of gacha mechanics. They noted it finally feels like the single-player Solo Leveling RPG fans have been waiting for.

  • Game8 gave it 66/100, highlighting strong visuals but criticizing the gameplay loop as repetitive and checklist-driven.

  • Checkpoint Gaming was harsher with a 5/10, pointing out poor optimization, monotonous missions, and technical glitches, though they admitted the combat system shows promise if polished further.

If you’re planning to buy it, you’ll have two options:

  • Standard Edition ($39.99 USD): Base game only.

  • Deluxe Edition ($44.99 USD): Includes early access, Sung Jinwoo’s “Overdrive” costume, hairstyles, face accessory, Cha Hae-In emoji set, Yaruru “Predator Tank” ally, and themed profile cosmetics.

Fans finally get a dedicated Solo Leveling RPG, but its long-term success will depend on updates and community response.
