Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds has locked in the release date and time for its SpongeBob SquarePants DLC, arriving November 19, 2025, at 5 PM PT. SEGA has detailed exactly what players can expect from the pack, how much it will cost, and what’s coming next in the game’s expanding roadmap.

Price

  • The SpongeBob SquarePants Pack is included in Wave 2 of the Season Pass ($29.99).

  • It can also be purchased separately for those who don’t own the pass.

  • Bikini Bottom themed course

  • SpongeBob‑inspired music tracks

  • Six unique emotes per character

  • A special SpongeBob Festival event (Nov. 20–23): open to all players, even without the DLC


What’s Next

SEGA isn’t stopping with SpongeBob. The roadmap for the next few months includes:

  • December 2025: NiGHTS joins with the Dream Sleeper vehicle

  • January 2026: AiAi from Super Monkey Ball arrives with the Banana Cruiser

  • February 2026: Sonic comic favorites Tangle and Whisper join the roster (vehicle details pending)


Beyond these, Sonic Racing: CrossWorlds launches on Nintendo Switch 2 digitally on December 4, 2025, for $69.99. A Switch 2 Upgrade Pack will be available for $10 (discounted to $5 during launch week). A physical edition is also planned for early 2026.


The game is already available on PlayStation, Xbox, Nintendo Switch, and PC via Steam.
