Stellar Blade, one of PlayStation 5’s breakout exclusives of 2024, is now gearing up for even bigger success with its PC debut set for June 11, 2025.
And even before launch, the game’s already making waves—it’s shot up the Steam Top Sellers list last week, holding the #3 spot globally (week of May 27–June 3), trailing only behind heavyweights Counter-Strike 2 and Elden Ring: Nightreign.
A Demo That’s Blazing Through Steam
Shift Up dropped a Stellar Blade demo on May 31, and the response has been nothing short of, well, stellar:
Peak concurrent players: 26,443 (For comparison: “Suicide Squad: Kill the Justice League” peaked at 13,459 on PC.)
User Reviews (Pre-Launch): Close to 3,000
Steam Rating: Very Positive (91% thumbs up)
A Rare PC Port That Actually Works
In a time when AAA PC ports are often buggy messes—Monster Hunter Wilds, Rise of the Ronin, and even The Last of Us Part 2 Remastered come to mind—Stellar Blade is a breath of fresh air.
According to early Steam feedback, the game runs smooth as butter, even on older rigs. One player reported 120 FPS on max settings using a five-year-old NVIDIA RTX 3070, calling the port “rock solid.”
With so many PC launches stumbling out of the gate lately, Shift Up’s polish here is turning heads—and rightfully so.
As of this writing, Stellar Blade is ranked #5 on Steam sales charts, just behind upcoming releases such as Dune: Awakening, Rune Factory: Guardians of Azuma, DELTARUNE, and the latest released, Elden Ring: Nightreign.
