Stellar Blade’s September Update Adds Three New Epilogues

Stellar Blade’s latest patch, released on September 29, 2025, introduces new epilogues for all three endings of the game, alongside quality-of-life improvements and bug fixes for PC players.

What’s New in the Update?

Stellar Blade, developed by Shift Up, has always offered players three distinct endings: Cost of Lost Memories, Making New Memories, and Return to the Colony. These have often been referred to by fans as the bad, good, and secret endings. Now, each of those finales has been expanded with a short epilogue cutscene.

The update adds three new animated sequences, each running around 30 seconds. These scenes don’t alter the game’s lore significantly, but instead provide lighthearted glimpses into the daily lives of EVE and her companions after the campaign concludes. The tone is largely comical, with fans getting to see characters interact in ways that feel more personal than the main story allowed. You can check it below:

PC-Specific Changes and Fixes

While PS5 players only receive the new epilogues, PC players benefit from several additional tweaks as part of the 1.4.1 update.

  • Photo Mode Improvement: Screenshots taken via the Odyssey 3D Hub are now automatically saved in a dedicated “Screenshots” folder in the game’s directory.

  • Quest Fixes: An issue in the “Strange Signal” request, where players couldn’t interact with the Scrap Yard’s network device after finishing the Orbital Elevator story, has been resolved.

  • General Stability: The update also delivers various bug fixes aimed at improving overall performance.

With this latest update, Shift Up shows it hasn’t abandoned the original game even as it gears up for the anticipated Stellar Blade sequel, expected sometime next year.

They also teased a horror collaboration last week, sparking speculation about Silent Hill or Resident Evil, though the developers haven’t revealed any details yet. However, it’s certain we’ll be getting more content in the game by the end of this year.
