Stellar Blade has quickly become one of the most modded games of 2025, recording nearly 20 million downloads on Nexus Mods within just three months of release.

From the moment Stellar Blade’s beta went live, the game became a hot spot for modders. Director Kim Hyung-tae may have stressed in interviews that “official content is better,” but that didn’t slow down the community’s creativity. In fact, the game overtook Nier Automata’s long-standing modding record within hours of launch, setting the tone for what was to come.

According to data from Nexus Mods (via TheGamer), Stellar Blade has already racked up 19.8 million downloads, making it the second most-modded game released in 2025 so far. Interestingly, this happened despite the game only being available for three months.

As for the most popular mods, it’s no shocker that adult-themed content dominates the charts. The top three include YoRHa Unofficial Ceremonial Attire with 418,000 downloads, Eve with no Clothes at 390,000, and XXTB Eve at 307,000.

Following closely are visual customization mods like new eye colors, makeup options, and even alternate character heads, each pulling in close to 300,000 downloads.

When compared with other major 2025 releases, only The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion Remastered sits above Stellar Blade on the modding leaderboard, with just 400,000 more downloads. It’s worth noting that Bethesda’s remaster dropped nearly two months earlier, giving it a head start. Meanwhile, Kingdom Come: Deliverance 2 comes in third place with around 11 million mod downloads.

Another interesting detail is how the average Stellar Blade mod is faring compared to its competitors. While Oblivion Remastered mods average about 5,300 downloads each, Stellar Blade mods pull in roughly 11,600 downloads apiece — more than double.
