Capcom has officially announced that seven Street Fighter 6 characters will receive their long-awaited Outfit 4 costumes on August 5, coinciding with the arrival of fan-favorite Sagat.
These new outfits are themed around swimwear, giving several fighters some beach-ready flair just in time for summer.
This update will feature Cammy, Chun-Li, Manon, Luke, Kimberly, Jamie, and A.K.I. in their new summer looks. While the rest of the roster will get their Outfit 4 appearances later.
A standout detail is the callback to classic Street Fighter II art by Kinu Nishimura. Cammy and Chun-Li’s new swimsuits are near-identical recreations of Nishimura’s iconic designs. Minor tweaks like jewelry details have been added, but the overall aesthetics remain faithful.

On the other hand, Manon’s look is pulled from more recent material — her Outfit 4 swimsuit closely mirrors the version drawn by artist Reinaldo Quintero for the July 2023 Street Fighter Swimsuit Special. Sporting a bob cut and a shawl, her new beach attire retains Quintero’s original summer concept almost frame for frame.

The designs go beyond just swimsuits, though. Characters like Luke and Kimberly look like lifeguards on patrol, while Jamie’s laid-back vest, beach shorts, and gourd make him look more like he’s ready to sip something cold under a palm tree.

And then there’s A.K.I., whose eerie, mummy-like swimsuit ties right back into her obsession with poison and the grotesque — proving even beachwear can be creepy in Street Fighter style.

As for pricing, Capcom hasn’t changed much. Outfit 4 will likely cost 300 Fighter Coins per character — roughly $6 USD — just like the previous Outfit 3 sets. These will also come with base recolors, offering a bit more bang for your buck. Given the pace of cosmetic updates since launch, fans are excited to see more playable characters finally getting wardrobe upgrades instead of just more avatar gear.
The announcement was part of Capcom’s recent Spotlight showcase. While the presentation was mostly filled with smaller updates, Street Fighter 6 stole the show with this steamy reveal.
It’s worth noting that this is the first new costume wave since Outfit 3 launched back in December 2023, so this rollout has been quite a while in the making. Capcom clearly took its time crafting these looks, and judging by the community response, it might just pay off handsomely.
In addition to new outfits, the August 5 update also introduces Sagat, marking the first fighter of the Year 3 expansion. Fans can already catch a teaser trailer for him online, and his inclusion continues to expand the Street Fighter 6 roster in meaningful ways.
Street Fighter 6 is currently available on PC (Steam), PS4, PS5, Xbox Series X|S, and recently launched on Nintendo Switch 2.
