According to the official synopsis, the film is set in 1993, where estranged fighters Ryu and Ken are pulled back into the ring when Chun-Li recruits them for the next World Warrior Tournament — a brutal clash hiding a deadly conspiracy. The stakes? If they fail, it’s “game over.”

This will be the third live-action Street Fighter film, following the 1994 cult classic starring Jean-Claude Van Damme and the less-loved 2009 reboot The Legend of Chun-Li.
