Team Falcons walked away with a flawless victory at the RLCS 2025 Raleigh Major, defeating Dignitas 4-1 in the Grand Final and making history as the first MENA team to win a Rocket League Major without losing a single series.

The event, held from June 26 to 29 at the Lenovo Center in Raleigh, North Carolina, brought together 16 of the world’s top Rocket League teams.

Dignitas, despite their impressive run, couldn’t find a way past Team Falcons. Their journey to the finals included notable victories over powerhouse teams like Karmine Corp and Team Vitality, with their performance against the latter earning widespread praise. But their Achilles’ heel proved to be Falcons, to whom they lost not once but three times over the course of the tournament.

The final series started strong for Dignitas as they took Game 1, but Falcons responded with four straight wins, shutting the door on any hopes of a comeback.

This marked yet another missed opportunity for Dignitas to end their title drought. The North American organisation, which was originally founded in London, has been chasing a major title since their last in 2021—and they’ll have to keep waiting a little longer.

According to Esports Charts, viewership for the Raleigh Major was a bit of a mixed bag. The peak viewer count hit 217,444, which is down 31% compared to the 2024 London Major. However, the average viewership told a different story, rising 25% year-over-year to 123,471, suggesting that fans who tuned in stayed engaged throughout the event. The Dignitas vs. Vitality showdown topped the charts as the most-watched match, with the Grand Final coming in a close second at 203,735 viewers.

When it came to overall watch time, NRG led the pack with 949,300 hours, just ahead of Dignitas’s 935,200. Both teams featured in multiple top-five matches and helped keep fans glued to their screens during the three-day spectacle.

The RLCS Raleigh Major was part of the ongoing 2025 season, organised by Epic Games and BLAST, with a total prize pool of $351,000 and essential RLCS points up for grabs.

Alongside the 3v3 main event, a 1v1 side tournament was held on June 28, offering its own $20,000 prize. Here, Twisted Mind's Nwpo won the tournament, defeating Diaz from North America with a commanding 4–1 victory in the grand finals. Nwpo not only took home the $15,000 prize but also secured a spot in the 1v1 World Championship later this season.

What’s Next for Rocket League Esports?

With Raleigh wrapped up, the Rocket League community now turns its attention to the Esports World Cup in Riyadh, running from August 14–17. Sixteen top teams, selected via RLCS regional rankings, will battle it out for a $1 million prize pool.

After that, it’s all roads to Lyon, France, where the 2025 Rocket League World Championship will take place from September 9–14, bringing the season to a climactic finish.
