The Milk Cup 2025 LAN Finals is officially heading to TwitchCon San Diego this October, bringing together 50 top Fortnite duos to compete for a $300,000 prize pool—the largest ever for a women’s Fortnite tournament.
This year’s edition builds on the momentum of its 2024 debut at LA Comic Con, with organizers aiming to not only elevate competition but also break down barriers that often limit participation. Travel and accommodations will be fully covered for all qualifying players, ensuring that financial constraints don't stand in the way of talent reaching the stage.
The Milk Cup is a collaborative initiative led by MilkPEP, the organization behind the “Gonna Need Milk” campaign, and developed with the help of Raidiant, ThePeachCobbler, and Women of the eRena.
“We’re thrilled to partner with Twitch to bring The Milk Cup’s much-anticipated LAN Finals to TwitchCon,” said Jen Grubb, Senior Marketing Manager at MilkPEP. “This partnership allows us to continue providing never-before-seen opportunities in women’s esports, highlight emerging talent, and connect directly with those shaping the future of competitive gaming.”
In addition to the main tournament, the Milk Cup has also introduced the Milk Cup Academy, which focuses on mentoring and training less experienced players.
According to a report by Esports Charts, the 2024 Milk Cup pulled in 57,000 peak Twitch viewers and over 270,000 hours watched—numbers that are expected to climb thanks to this year’s partnership with Twitch.
