Ubisoft Joins Green Game Jam 2025 With Eco-Inspired In-Game Events Across Popular Titles

Ubisoft is going green once again. Multiple studios across the company are participating in this year’s Green Game Jam, adding environmentally themed content to titles like Riders Republic, Just Dance, Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown, and more.

The Green Game Jam is an annual initiative focused on sustainability awareness through in-game events and features. It’s run by the Playing for the Planet Alliance, which is backed by the United Nations Environment Program (UNEP). Ubisoft, a founding member of the alliance, is among more than 50 studios taking part this year.

Here’s a look at what Ubisoft has planned across its lineup:

Just Dance 2025 Edition – Ubisoft Paris

A new ‘Move for Nature’ playlist has been added, featuring five songs that celebrate the beauty of nature. Some familiar names include:

• “Whenever, Wherever” by Shakira

• “The Lion Sleeps Tonight (Wimoweh)” by The Tokens

• “Stop This Fire” by Nius

Riders Republic – Ubisoft Annecy

In the latest LAB event, players team up with a shovel-wielding, bike-riding bear to put out wildfires in a scorched forest.

Your tools? A shovel, sandbags, and a trusty wheelbarrow.

Your goal? Save the forest one checkpoint at a time.

This high-speed rescue mission drops at the end of summer.

Prince of Persia: The Lost Crown – Ubisoft Montpellier

This one’s all about plants—and the community. Through a ‘Community Garden’ activation, players can upload photos of their houseplants to a special in-game screenshot hub. As more players participate, the digital garden will grow into something truly lush.

This event will also reach the Rogue Prince of Persia community, with a unique version arriving the following week.

Hungry Shark Evolution – Ubisoft Barcelona Mobile

Pollution meets payback. A new industrial facility is dumping waste into the ocean—and it’s your job to stop it.

Use a vacuum to suck up trash and fire it back as missiles. Take down the polluter and unlock a brand-new Toxic Pet.

Take a calmer route this time. Explore the ocean, discover new fauna, snap some pictures, and learn cool facts about the creatures you encounter.

Idle Miner Tycoon – Kolibri Games

Say hello to Super Manager Lauany—a fierce guardian of the Amazon and protector of her jaguar companions.

Join her in a special LiveOps event where you’ll collect seeds and saplings to help restore the rainforest and let wildlife thrive once again.
