Xbox has officially confirmed that it will be attending Gamescom 2025, which is scheduled to take place from August 20 to 24 in Cologne, Germany.

Despite the recent presence at Summer Game Fest and, of course, at Xbox Games Showcase, the company is already shifting gears toward Europe’s biggest gaming expo.

The news was first shared via Xbox’s official X account. While the full lineup is still under wraps, we do know that Bethesda Softworks and Blizzard Entertainment will also be part of the show. Bethesda confirmed its attendance on X, and Blizzard is bringing something special for World of Warcraft fans.

Blizzard’s booth will focus on World of Warcraft: Midnight, the next chapter in the Worldsoul Saga, which was originally unveiled during BlizzCon 2023. According to Blizzard, fans can expect five full days of community-focused activities, including cosplay showcases, developer meet-and-greets, and exclusive in-game reveals.

Bethesda’s involvement hints at potential updates on titles like Indiana Jones and the Great Circle, which debuted its Order of Giants DLC at the Xbox Games Showcase. There’s also speculation that DOOM: The Dark Ages campaign DLC might make an appearance—though some reports suggest it could debut during QuakeCon 2025 instead.

For now, Xbox and its subsidiaries are among the first major names to lock in their participation. With so many active projects under Xbox’s wing, fans can expect a diverse showcase.
