Microsoft Reveals Xbox Game Pass November 2025 Wave 1 Lineup

Microsoft has officially revealed the Xbox Game Pass November 2025 Wave 1 lineup. The highlight, of course, is Call of Duty: Black Ops 7, which arrives as a day-one launch on November 14 across Cloud, Console, and PC for Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass subscribers. As one of the biggest titles under Microsoft’s Activision Blizzard banner, its inclusion solidifies Game Pass’s value heading into the holiday season.

Games Highlights:

Dead Static Drive (November 5 – Cloud, Console, and PC)

Kicking things off on November 5, Dead Static Drive hits Game Pass as a day-one release for Ultimate and PC subscribers.

Developed by Reuben Games, an indie studio from Melbourne, Australia, this title has been affectionately dubbed “Grand Theft Cthulhu.” The game blends open-world driving mechanics with Lovecraftian horror, creating a tense survival experience set in a decaying 1980s Americana.

Players will explore eerie small towns, scavenge supplies, and fend off nightmarish creatures from beyond reality. It’s a mix of cosmic horror and road-trip survival.

Sniper Elite: Resistance (November 5 – Cloud, Console, and PC)

Also arriving on November 5 is Sniper Elite: Resistance from Rebellion Developments, now available through Game Pass Premium.

Set in occupied France during World War II, this tactical third-person shooter focuses on stealth, precision, and co-op warfare. Players join the French Resistance to sabotage Nazi operations using Rebellion’s iconic long-range sniping system and X-ray kill cams.

The game allows full co-op campaign play, blending stealth mechanics with satisfying gunplay. While it received mixed reviews earlier this year for dated visuals and familiar mission design, its polished sniping system still delivers that distinct Sniper Elite thrill fans know and love.

Egging On (November 6 – Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S)

On November 6, the chaos continues with Egging On, a quirky physics-based platformer developed by Egobounds.

The premise is as absurd as it is entertaining. You guide fragile eggs through dangerous obstacle courses filled with spikes, fire traps, and moving platforms. Every jump feels like a gamble as you try not to crack under pressure.

The gameplay pays homage to titles like Super Meat Boy, focusing on precision, timing, and comically frustrating retries. The inclusion of a level editor allows players to create and share custom challenges, giving it plenty of replay value.

Its combination of slapstick humor and tight platforming makes it one of the most entertaining indie additions this month.

Whiskerwood (November 6 – PC)

Also launching on November 6 is Whiskerwood, a cozy colony simulation game developed by Minakata Dynamics and published by Hooded Horse.

Players build and manage a charming mouse village nestled within a lush forest, assigning rodent citizens to gather resources, craft tools, and protect their home from natural threats.

The art style is colorful and comforting, drawing inspiration from Stardew Valley and RimWorld, with a focus on automation and emergent storytelling. Early previews have praised its relaxing loop and delightful animations, making it a must-try for fans of wholesome strategy and life-sim experiences.

Voidtrain (November 7 – Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S)

On November 7, Voidtrain finally arrives in its full 1.0 form after years in early access.

Developed by HypeTrain Digital, this survival crafting adventure puts players aboard a train traveling through a mysterious interdimensional void. You’ll gather resources from floating islands, build train modules, automate production, and battle bizarre void creatures solo or with friends in co-op.

It’s a surreal experience mixing exploration, base-building, and combat, something like Subnautica meets No Man’s Sky, but on rails. The developers promise major updates to pacing, visuals, and balance at launch, giving fans of sandbox survival plenty to look forward to.

Great God Grove (November 11 – Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S)

Great God Grove, developed by LimboLane, arrives on November 11 as one of the most unique narrative adventures this month.

Players take control of a mysterious wanderer wielding a magical vacuum that can inhale and remix the speech of boastful forest gods. The gameplay mixes puzzle-solving with surreal dialogue manipulation, all set within a hand-drawn forest teeming with divine personalities.

Originally released in late 2024, the game gained critical acclaim (99% on Steam) for its witty writing, creative mechanics, and strong ecological themes. It’s an imaginative experience perfect for players seeking story-driven adventures with an emotional twist.

Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris (November 11 – Cloud, Console, and PC)

Joining the lineup on November 11 is Lara Croft and the Temple of Osiris, the 2014 co-op action-adventure developed by Crystal Dynamics.

This isometric spin-off features fast-paced twin-stick combat, ancient Egyptian puzzles, and up to four-player co-op gameplay. Players team up as Lara and her allies to battle through trap-filled tombs, collect artifacts, and defeat the evil god Set.

While it’s not a traditional Tomb Raider experience, the game’s charming visuals and cooperative puzzles make it a fun diversion for both newcomers and long-time fans. It’s especially enjoyable in co-op, offering that perfect mix of competition and collaboration.

Pigeon Simulator (November 11 – Cloud, PC, Xbox Series X|S)

Also landing on November 11 is Pigeon Simulator by TinyBuild Riga. It is an official reboot and full-scale production of a 2019 prototype originally created by Bossa Games, the developers behind chaotic physics sims like Surgeon Simulator.

This chaotic roguelite sandbox lets you take control of a pigeon and wreak absolute havoc across procedurally generated cityscapes. You can dive-bomb humans, steal food, dodge predators, and even upgrade your pigeon with hilarious abilities. It’s a blend of ragdoll physics, absurd humor, and emergent gameplay that encourages experimentation.

Relic Hunters Legend (November 12 – Cloud, Console, and PC)

On November 12, Relic Hunters Legend makes its Game Pass debut. Developed by Rogue Snail, this top-down looter-shooter combines colorful pixel-art visuals with fast-paced roguelite action.

Players can team up in co-op to blast through procedurally generated missions, collect powerful relics, and customize their loadouts with modular weapons. The gameplay loop is addictive: quick missions, satisfying gunplay, and plenty of loot drops.

Following its positive early access reception, the full release in August has been praised for its vibrant art, engaging co-op systems, and generous free-to-play structure. It’s a great fit for those who enjoy cooperative shooters like Risk of Rain 2 or Helldivers.

Winter Burrow (November 12 – Cloud, Console, and PC)

Also releasing on November 12, Winter Burrow offers a much calmer experience. Developed by Pine Creek Games in partnership with Noodlecake Studios, it’s a cozy life simulation game where players take on the role of a small animal rebuilding its home after a harsh winter.

The game focuses on foraging, crafting, and storytelling in a world brimming with charm and emotion. There’s no combat, just a relaxing loop of survival, community, and comfort.

Inspired by Spiritfarer, it’s been widely praised for its hand-painted art style and emotionally resonant narrative. Perfect for winding down after all the high-octane titles earlier in the lineup.

Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 (November 14 – Cloud, Console, and PC)

Finally, the lineup culminates with Call of Duty: Black Ops 7 on November 14, the biggest day-one addition to Game Pass yet. Co-developed by Treyarch and Raven Software, the game combines Cold War espionage with near-future black ops operations.
