Xbox Price Hike: Check Out How Much New Console Costs You in the US, UK, Europe, and Australia

Microsoft has confirmed that the Xbox Series S, Series X, accessories, and, later this year first-party games are all getting more expensive. This applies to the U.S., EU, UK, Australia, and other regions.
While Xbox Game Pass pricing will remain unchanged (for now), this marks a significant shift for Microsoft — especially after years of holding out while competitors like PlayStation and Nintendo moved to higher prices earlier.
Game Prices to Hit $80 by Holiday 2025
Games will also begin reaching a maximum price of $80 USD starting this holiday season. Microsoft says pricing will remain scaled — smaller titles may still launch at $50 or less — but AAA blockbusters like Call of Duty and the upcoming GTA 6 are expected to hit the $80 ceiling.
Microsoft insiders confirm that upcoming titles like DOOM: The Dark Ages will avoid the new pricing tier, but anything arriving after fall 2025 likely won’t.
