Electronic Arts is reportedly gearing up to unveil Battlefield 6 during a special three-day event kicking off on July 29.

The scoop comes from well-known Battlefield content creator Rivalxfactor, who claimed on X (formerly Twitter) that he confirmed the existence of the event with multiple sources. He described it as an “EV Event”—a title that suggests it could cover more than just Battlefield, possibly resembling EA Play showcases from past E3 seasons. However, all eyes are on Battlefield 6, with the game expected to headline the show.

Rivalxfactor shared that the event will feature developer interviews, content creator gameplay, and a formal reveal of the game. “This is where Battlefield 6 will be revealed,” he wrote, adding that the format will include live gameplay similar to the Battlefield 1 event, where creators jumped into matches right after the dev presentation. An Open Beta is also rumored to launch shortly after the event, giving fans their first hands-on experience.

Fueling the speculation even further was a recently leaked promotional suitcase reportedly sent by EA to selected creators. A screenshot of the package was posted (and quickly deleted) by streamer DooM49, showing a silver case stamped with “Battlefield 6” and wrapped in red straps labeled with familiar multiplayer modes like Conquest, Rush, Breakthrough, and the cheeky “PTFO” (Play the F***ing Objective). According to fans, the leak suggests that Battlefield 6 will return to its roots with these iconic modes making a comeback.

Although the promotional material has yet to be officially acknowledged by EA, its emergence—paired with increasing chatter from creators and insiders—makes the timing of an official announcement feel imminent. These packages typically go out shortly before a big reveal, hinting that the marketing engine is already revving up.

Meanwhile, gameplay clips and concept art tied to Battlefield 6 continue to leak online, despite EA’s efforts to clamp down. One of the most talked-about datamined details includes the possibility of a Battle Royale modeA full 18-minute video leaked from a closed alpha test shows classic Rush gameplay on a new map called Iberian Offensive: King’s Battery. Players push through objectives with limited respawns—just like the old days.

Additional insights from Battlefield Labs playtesting also suggest that Battlefield 6 will reintroduce traditional class systems and offer better weapon balance across archetypes—a notable shift from the criticized Battlefield 2042’s specialists system.

Leaks also pointed towards Destruction Mechanics—buildings and structures collapse dynamically, echoing the beloved chaos of Battlefield 3 and Bad Company 2.

Then, some fans believe the setting may include real-world locations, with hints pointing to Gibraltar based on leaked concept art.

Nonetheless, EA has confirmed that the next installment in the Battlefield franchise is slated to launch before April 2026, and it’s expected to release on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X|S, and PC. While nothing is official yet, all signs point to July 29 as a date to watch closely for Battlefield fans.

Until then, treat these details with the usual grain of salt—but don’t be surprised if EA makes things official very soon.
