The BGMI Masters Series (BGMS) Season 4 has just wrapped up its League Stage, where 48 Indian teams competed from August 18 to September 7.
For the first time, the League Stage was split into two tournaments, each featuring 24 teams running parallel to one another, with a similar format but different rewards.
The Amateur League - Battlegrounds Challengers Series (BGCS) offered only 4 slots for the Playoffs, sending the remaining 16 teams home. Meanwhile, the larger Battlegrounds Masters Series (BGMS) gave teams a bigger chance, with 4 teams earning direct slots to the Finale and 8 teams advancing to the Semi-Finals. The remaining 12 teams stay in the tournament and would get another shot via the Playoffs.
Unlike the League Stage, where teams had multiple days to showcase consistency, the Playoffs will be a do-or-die scenario. It's just a one-day event on September 9, 2025, with only four matches scheduled. By the end of the day, only the top 8 teams will advance to the Semi-Finals, while the other 8 will face elimination.
