BLAST Premier to Host Rivals Season 1 2026 in North America

BLAST Premier has announced that its Counter-Strike 2 tournament, Rivals Season 1 2026, will take place in North America from April 27th to May 3rd, 2026.

"We are pleased to announce that the BLAST Premier Rivals S1 2026 will be held in North America!" stated BLAST Premier's official account on social media platform X. Meanwhile, the exact location within North America remains unknown.

The recent BLAST Rivals Spring event wrapped up in Copenhagen, Denmark, after being moved from its initial location in Monterrey, Mexico. Team Vitality emerged victorious by defeating Team Falcons 3-2 in the Grand Final.

This won't be BLAST's first tournament on American soil. The organization previously hosted the BLAST.tv Austin Major, which secured Alienware as its PC sponsor. That tournament featured 32 teams competing for a share of a $1.25 million prize pool.

Key details about the 2026 event—including format, participating teams, and prize money—have yet to be revealed. However, industry experts suggest the tournament might follow similar patterns to previous BLAST events.

Counter-Strike fans can look forward to other upcoming US tournaments this month, such as the Austin Major and IEM Dallas.
