Borderlands 4 Release Time Across Platforms and Regions Unveiled

Gearbox Software has announced the release schedule for Borderlands 4, with launch times set for consoles and PC, and a slightly delayed debut on the Nintendo Switch 2.

According to official listings, console players on PS5 and Xbox Series X|S will get access starting September 12 at midnight local time in most regions — including New Zealand, Australia, Japan, Singapore, the UK, and the US East Coast. West Coast players will get in slightly earlier, at 9:00 PM PT on September 11.

PC players will need to wait just a bit longer. Steam and Epic Games Store users will see staggered unlocks, with New Zealand getting access at 4:00 AM NZST, while US players can start as early as 9:00 AM PT on September 11. The Nintendo Switch 2 version rolls out on October 3, following the same midnight local time format across regions.
