Capcom and Bandai Namco Announce Lineups for Tokyo Game Show 2025

Capcom and Bandai Namco have officially revealed their game lineups for Tokyo Game Show 2025, which will be held from September 25 to 28 at Makuhari Messe in Chiba, Japan. Both companies have also opened dedicated websites with schedules, event details, and special content prepared for fans worldwide.


Capcom’s presence at the event is looking particularly strong this year, showcasing a mix of returning favorites and highly anticipated new titles. Among the highlights are Monster Hunter Outlanders, Resident Evil Requiem, PRAGMATA, and Onimusha: Way of the Sword.


Here is the full Capcom title list:

  • Monster Hunter Outlanders (iOS, Android) - Capcom and TiMi Studio’s ambitious mobile spin‑off

  • Monster Hunter Stories 3: Twisted Reflection (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PC) - The next chapter in the turn‑based RPG sub‑series

  • Monster Hunter Wilds (PS5, Xbox Series, PC)

  • Onimusha: Way of the Sword (PS5, Xbox Series, PC) - Marking the series’ first new mainline entry in nearly 20 years, planned for 2026

  • PRAGMATA (PS5, Xbox Series, PC) - Capcom’s original sci‑fi action adventure planned for 2026

  • Resident Evil Requiem (PS5, Xbox Series, PC) - The ninth mainline Resident Evil releasing on February 27, 2026

  • Resident Evil: Survival Unit (iOS, Android) - A squad‑based real‑time strategy spin‑off

  • Street Fighter 6 (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, PC)


According to Capcom’s official announcement, the contents of each demo will be disclosed closer to the event.


On the other hand, Bandai Namco is preparing a booth packed with popular IPs and family-friendly fun. Headlining the lineup is Code Vein II, followed by Digimon Story: Time Stranger and the eerie yet beloved Little Nightmares III, which will be playable on multiple platforms.

  • Code Vein II (PS5, Xbox Series, PC) - The anime‑souls sequel returns with a time‑twisting narrative, expected 2026

  • Digimon Story: Time Stranger (PS5, Xbox Series, PC) - Turn-based Monster RPG, likely releasing in 2026

  • Little Nightmares III (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch 2, PS4, Xbox One, Switch, PC) - Puzzle Platformer coming on October 10, 2025

  • Once Upon a KATAMARI (PS5, Xbox Series, Switch, PC) - Puzzle Action Adventure set for 2026

  • Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots (PS5, Switch, PC)

  • Tamagotchi Plaza – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition (Switch 2) 


The company’s Family Game Park will include lighter and more accessible titles such as Everybody’s Golf: Hot Shots and Tamagotchi Plaza – Nintendo Switch 2 Edition.


In addition, Bandai Namco has confirmed that fans can expect an online program showcasing updates on Jump+ Jumble Rush, a new mobile app scheduled for release in fall 2025.
