Cyberpunk 2077 fans have something new to look forward to, as Lucy from Cyberpunk: Edgerunners will officially join Guilty Gear Strive as a DLC character on August 21, 2025.

The announcement was made during EVO 2025, accompanied by a stylish gameplay trailer from Arc System Works.

According to the reveal, Lucy will be the final fighter added in Season Pass 4. The trailer showcased her distinctive design, complete with monowire attacks, pistol combos, and quickhacking abilities lifted straight from Cyberpunk 2077. Players will even see the familiar in-game hacking menus appear during her special moves, making the crossover feel authentic and detailed.

As per Arc System Works, Lucy is described as an “elite hacker” and “cyberspace surfer,” staying true to her anime roots. The footage also featured animated story cutscenes, cameos from Edgerunners characters like David Martinez and Rebecca, and visual nods to key moments from the Netflix series — including Lucy’s signature red-glow hacking scene.

For those unfamiliar, Cyberpunk: Edgerunners is an anime spin-off set a year before Cyberpunk 2077. It follows David Martinez, a street kid turned mercenary, and Lucy, the netrunner who introduces him to Night City’s underworld. The series debuted in 2022 and has a second season in production.

Alongside Lucy’s arrival, Guilty Gear Strive will roll out a new update featuring Rank Match Mode and balance adjustments. Players with the Season Pass 4 will automatically unlock Lucy after the patch drops, while others will need to purchase the DLC separately.
