More importantly, the top three teams will secure qualification slots for the prestigious Esports World Cup (EWC) 2026, raising the stakes significantly for participants.

City Qualifiers Details

Offline city qualifiers will be held at college venues across four cities, each hosting 144 teams. Only the winner from each city earns a spot for the group stages.

  • Lucknow – CLUB GUSTO, Gomti Nagar (February 7)

  • Kolkata – Suhani Banquets, Maheshtala (February 7)

  • Hyderabad – Mihira Banquets, Ramanthapur (February 8)

  • Ahmedabad – Swarnim Business HUB-1, Godrej Garden City (February 8)

For registration, all players must be Indian citizens and at least 16 years old. In terms of in-game stats, players must have at least Heroic rank and a minimum account level of 40.

Each team must have 4 main players. Additionally, one substitute player can be included. And yes, a player can only play for one team and in one city.

Now let’s talk about how and where to register. City Qualifier registrations will not be online but directly at the venue. That too, one day before the match. So if you’re from Lucknow or Kolkata, you must reach the venue on February 6 between 10 AM and 6 PM. If you’re from Ahmedabad or Hyderabad, you must reach the venue on February 7 between 10 AM and 6 PM to register your team.

At registration, all 4 team members must be present together. The first 144 teams to register will be placed on the accepted list. But remember, being on the accepted list does not guarantee a slot. Final confirmation will only be given after check-in and verification on match day. If any team from the accepted list fails to check in, their slot will be given to a team from the waiting list.

On match day, the most important thing is to check in. Check-in timing is from 9 AM to 10:30 AM. If you miss a check-in, your slot may go to a waiting list team.

Matches will start at 11 AM.

Now let’s see what you need to carry on match day. This is a mobile-only tournament, so you must bring your own mobile device, chargers, and other peripherals (headphones). You also need active mobile internet and a valid government photo ID.

The FFMIC 2026 Spring City Qualifiers will be played in two stages. In the first stage, 144 teams will be divided into 12 groups. Each group will have 12 teams, and each group will play one match. After that match, the team with the highest score in the group will advance to the finals.

This way, 12 finalist teams will be selected, and they will play 3 matches in the finals. The team that finishes on top will qualify for the FFMIC 2026 Spring Group Stage.

Scoring will be based on placement points and elimination points. Matches will be played on official maps: Bermuda, Purgatory, Alpine, Kalahari, Nexterra, and Solara. If two teams tie on score, the tie-breaker rules will apply.

No hacks or third-party apps are allowed. Watching spectator screens is strictly prohibited. For communication, only in-game chat, Discord, or parallel apps are allowed. If any rules are broken, your team will be directly disqualified.

FFC Qualifier Details

For those who missed the City Qualifiers, don’t worry, there’s a second chance. This time, it will be an online event on February 15, 2026, via FFC Mode.

This stage is crucial as it offers the majority of slots, 38 out of 48, for the Group Stage.

Eligibility criteria and team compositions remain the same as the City Qualifiers.

Successful teams will advance directly to the Group Stage starting February 26, 2026. Winning teams’ rosters will be locked for the rest of the event.
