It looks like Peacemaker might finally be making his full debut in Fortnite. According to well-known leakers like HYPEX, ShiinaBR, and Loloo, Epic Games could be gearing up for a new collaboration with the DC anti-hero — this time featuring a complete skin bundle based on John Cena’s character.
Now, this isn’t the first time Peacemaker’s name has come up in Fortnite rumors. Fans may remember whispers of a collab back in early 2024, teased alongside a potential One Piece crossover. That never quite happened — but this time, the stars seem to be aligning.
With Peacemaker Season 2 officially premiering on August 21 on HBO Max, it makes a lot of sense for Epic to finally drop the character into the game. Fortnite has a habit of syncing big crossovers with movie or series promotions, like it did recently with Superman and Fantastic Four content drops.
Back in 2021, Fortnite gave us a small taste of Peacemaker through a DC-themed spray included in the Bloodsport Bundle during Chapter 2: Season 7. It featured his iconic silver helmet but didn’t go beyond that — no full skin, no back bling, no emote. That early teaser tied in with The Suicide Squad film, where John Cena debuted as the character. While it was cool, it left fans hoping for more.
Fast forward to now, and things are heating up. A new post from @ShiinaBR on July 27 hinted that a proper Fortnite x Peacemaker crossover is “coming soon,” and this time it sounds like we’re getting the real deal. Other leakers suggest a full cosmetic set, likely including a John Cena-styled character skin, his trademark helmet, and possibly even his signature guns or emotes.
Peacemaker Season 2 picks up after the events of the upcoming Superman (2025) film and is part of James Gunn’s fresh reboot of the DC Universe. Cena is back in the lead, joined by returning cast members Danielle Brooks, Freddie Stroma, Jennifer Holland, and Steve Agee. The show’s trailer just dropped during San Diego Comic-Con, which only adds more fuel to the Fortnite rumor fire.
UPDATE: Recent rumors indicate that Freddie Stroma's character, Vigilante, will also be involved in this collaboration.

It’s also worth noting that this wouldn’t be the first time Cena’s Peacemaker stepped into the gaming world. In 2023, he appeared as a playable character in Mortal Kombat 1 via the Kombat Pack DLC, complete with his voice, costume, and an arsenal of weapons.
Epic hasn’t officially confirmed anything yet, but if history is any indication, we could see this bundle hit the Item Shop around the show’s premiere window. For Fortnite fans and DC lovers alike, this crossover could finally bring the explosive, helmet-wearing vigilante into full playable form — and this time, it’s not just a spray.
