Fortnitemares 2025 is creeping up this October, and thanks to early leaks, we’ve already got a spooky sneak peek at what’s in store.

The fan‑favorite Halloween event is all about transforming the island into a haunted playground — think eerie map changes, limited‑time loot, themed quests, and horror‑icon crossovers.

Epic hasn’t dropped any official details yet, but dataminers are doing what they do best and digging up some wild possibilities.

Based on previous years, the event should kick off between October 12–15 and run for about three weeks, wrapping up in early November… unless Epic decides to surprise us.

One of the biggest talking points this year is the rumored arrival of Jason Voorhees from the Friday the 13th franchise. According to trusted leaker ShiinaBR, files discovered after Fortnite’s v37.10 update on August 26 mention a “Jason Voorhees Medallion,” which could introduce him as a boss on the island. If true, this would mark the first time the iconic slasher officially appears in Fortnite, something fans have been requesting for years. While it’s not yet clear what powers or advantages the medallion might grant, speculation suggests stealth-based abilities to mirror Jason’s signature playstyle. A Jason skin is also highly expected, though not yet confirmed.

And Jason’s not alone. Leaks from HYPEX and Shiina also revealed that Ghostface from the Scream series could be featured in Fortnitemares 2025. The files reference a “Ghostface Mythic” ability, reportedly allowing players to stalk opponents, perform jumpscare-style eliminations, and execute two different attack modes. Interestingly, the ability will sometimes slow the user, adding a bit of risk to the reward. Whether Ghostface shows up as a boss or his item is tied to loot pools remains to be seen.

On the lighter side of spooky, we might also see Scooby‑Doo content, with Shaggy rumored to be getting multiple skins or styles. As per leaker SamLeakss, this could either be a store release or part of the in-game event itself. While Scooby and the rest of Mystery Inc. haven’t been confirmed, fans are already speculating that at least one other member of the gang might join him.

Aside from these crossover skins and mythics, Fortnitemares 2025 is also set to deliver the usual Halloween upgrades — map changes, spooky decorations, themed quests, and free rewards. Players can also look forward to limited-time mythic weapons, with rumors suggesting returns of classics like Leatherface’s Chainsaw and possibly new additions to fit this year’s horror lineup.

Bottom line: If these leaks are on point, Fortnitemares 2025 could be one of the biggest yet — mixing full‑on horror icons like Jason and Ghostface with playful nostalgia via Scooby‑Doo. Just remember, this is all based on datamined info, so plans could still change before we hit October.
