Gamescom 2025 Awards: Full Winners List and Highlights from the Event

Gamescom 2025 officially wrapped up with its annual Gamescom Awards, celebrating the standout games, developers, and moments of the event.
This year, 19 categories highlighted everything from visuals and audio to gameplay and impact, making it one of the most diverse award shows in recent years.
Among the most notable highlights, Resident Evil Requiem by Capcom proved to be the big winner, taking home multiple trophies, including Best Visuals, Best Audio, Most Epic, and Best PlayStation Game. This strong showing further cemented Capcom’s dominance at the event, as the studio also earned the Best Lineup award.
Nintendo also had a strong presence, with Donkey Kong Bananza winning Best Gameplay and Mario Kart World grabbing the crown for Best Nintendo Switch 2 Game.
On the indie side, Tiny Bookshop by Neoludic Games secured Games for Impact, reflecting its meaningful narrative. Hela by Windup/Knights Peak was another standout, earning recognition as both Most Entertaining and Most Wholesome.
Beyond the games, the community also had a voice in the celebrations. Fans voted Hollow Knight: Silksong as Best Trailer/Announcement, while Pokémon took home Best Booth (Fan Selected).
Ubisoft received the jury award for Best Booth, and the Star Birds Gacha Machine was honored with Best Merch.
