PlayStation has officially announced that the Ghost of Yotei limited-edition PS5 consoles and accessories will be available for pre-order beginning September 4 at 10 AM local time.

The special hardware lineup will launch alongside the game on October 2, 2025, giving fans a chance to pick up a themed console, controllers, and covers ahead of release.

The lineup includes two PS5 Slim console bundles, two DualSense controller variants, and a set of console covers for both the PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro.

The bundles are designed to celebrate the upcoming launch of Ghost of Yotei, the highly anticipated sequel to Ghost of Tsushima.

Pricing and Availability

According to the PlayStation blog, here is how the Ghost of Yotei PS5 will cost:

  • Ghost of Yotei Gold Limited Edition Bundle (PS5 Slim) – $599.99 USD | €599.99 | £519.99 | ¥86,980

  • Console Covers – Gold Limited Edition (PS5 Slim and PS5 Pro) – $64.99 USD | €64.99 | £54.99 | ¥8,980

  • DualSense Controller – Gold Limited Edition – $84.99 USD | €84.99 | £74.99 | ¥12,480

Meanwhile, the Black Limited Edition PS5 Slim bundle and controller will also be available at the same price.

You can order them through direct.playstation.com in select regions, including Austria, France, the Netherlands, Italy, Luxembourg, Portugal, Spain, and the United Kingdom. There is no confirmation for other regions yet, but expansion is expected soon.

The black DualSense controller will also be offered at select retailers in Japan.

A Rare Special Edition

While PlayStation has released various themed accessories before, this marks only the second time in the PS5 generation that a full console bundle has received a limited-edition treatment. The first was the Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 PS5 bundle in 2023, which arrived before the game’s official launch. With nearly two years since that release, the Ghost of Yotei edition brings back some much-needed excitement for collectors and fans alike.

Ghost of Yotei at Tokyo Game Show

Beyond the hardware, Ghost of Yotei itself is shaping up to be PlayStation’s next major blockbuster. The game will also be headlining the PlayStation booth at Tokyo Game Show 2025, which runs from September 25–28. This showcase could serve as the final in-depth look at the game before it officially hits shelves on October 2.
