GTA 6 Trailer 2 Drops Some Seriously Cool Tracks - Here's What We've Heard So Far

Rockstar Games just blessed us with a second trailer for Grand Theft Auto 6, and while the gameplay looks amazing, the soundtrack is what's got music lovers talking.

The new two-minute preview is mainly backed by The Pointer Sisters' catchy 1986 banger "Hot Together" - a perfect choice that sets the vibe for all the chaos going down in Vice City. If the song sounds familiar, you might remember it from classic flicks like "Spaceballs" or "Stakeout," but now it's found a new home in the GTA universe.

During one cool segment, we see Jason (one of the game's main characters) cruising around and collecting cash for his boss. What makes this part special is we actually get to hear snippets of music playing on his car radio - giving us a sneak peek at what we'll be jamming to while driving around in the finished game. These quick radio hits include:

  1. "Everybody Have Fun Tonight" by Wang Chung (total '80s classic!)

  2. "Child Support" by Zenglen & 5 Etwal (bringing some Caribbean flavor)

  3. "Talkin' To Myself Again" by Tammy Wynette (country vibes for the win)

This isn't the first time Rockstar has knocked it out of the park with their music choices. Remember the first GTA 6 trailer from 2023? It featured Tom Petty's "Love Is A Long Road," and according to Spotify, streams for that track skyrocketed by a mind-blowing 36,979 % after the trailer dropped. Talk about making an impact!

Based on what we've seen in both trailers, here's the full rundown of confirmed tracks that will likely appear on GTA 6's radio stations (I've also included a YouTube link if you'd like to jump directly from here to listen):

There's also a rumor floating around that Joan Jett & the Blackhearts' rock anthem "I Love Rock 'n' Roll" might make an appearance in an in-game Ammu-Nation commercial, though that's not set in stone yet.

Unfortunately, we'll have to wait a bit longer than expected to cruise around Vice City with these tunes blasting. Despite initially hinting at a 2025 release, Rockstar recently announced they're pushing the launch back to May 26, 2026. In their words: "With every game we have released, the goal has always been to try and exceed your expectations, and GTA 6 is no exception. We hope you understand that we need this extra time to deliver at the level of quality you expect and deserve."

Sure, the delay is a bummer for fans who were counting down the days to a 2025 release. But if these music selections are anything to go by, Rockstar is putting together another legendary soundtrack that'll have us all creating playlists inspired by the game.
