Hollow Knight: Silksong is finally inching closer to release on September 4, 2025, and while Team Cherry has yet to officially reveal its price, recent leaks have painted a fairly clear picture of what players can expect to pay.

One of the most notable updates came from the GOG platform, which recently listed prices for Silksong’s PC version.

These figures were first spotted by well-known leaker Billbil Kun, who also noted that the GOG prices differ slightly from those on Steam. For instance, in Europe, Steam lists the game at €19.50, while GOG offers it at a slightly lower €18.29.

In the U.S., both platforms seem aligned at $19.99, a price that matches an earlier leak from GameStop’s listing for the Nintendo Switch version — although that listing has since been removed, leaving fans to speculate whether it was a placeholder or an accidental reveal.

According to Billbil Kun, Steam’s pricing will remain under the €20 mark across most regions. Here’s a quick breakdown of what players can expect:

Console pricing remains a mystery for now. Versions for Switch, Switch 2, PS4, PS5, Xbox One, and Xbox Series X|S have yet to be listed.

Meanwhile, Xbox players have something to look forward to: Silksong will be available Day One on Game Pass Ultimate and will support Xbox’s Play Anywhere feature. That means one purchase grants access on both console and PC — a win for cross-platform fans.

Fans have welcomed the reasonable pricing, with one Reddit user noting, “It’s rare to see a reasonably priced video game at launch nowadays. This is clearly a passion project for Team Cherry.” That sentiment echoes a wider belief that the studio values accessibility and community support over chasing premium price tags.
