Infinity Nikki players can look forward to a special crossover with Stardew Valley, set to arrive on September 1, 2025.
The collaboration, revealed through the game’s official X account and YouTube channel, will launch as part of the 1.9 “Music Season” update. Available on Steam, Epic Games Store, PlayStation, iOS, and Android, the update teases cozy surprises inspired by Stardew Valley’s farm life.
According to the announcement trailer, Stardew Valley’s beloved Junimos will step into the vibrant world of Infinity Nikki. The official post hinted, “Cozy surprises await you, and adventure is in the air. Prepare your senses for a harvest of wonders.”
While details remain limited, fans are already speculating that the collab could bring themed outfits, farm-inspired accessories, and possibly unique quests. Interestingly, Stardew Valley has rarely engaged in crossovers, which makes this collaboration a standout moment for both games.
However, the reaction from the Infinity Nikki community has been surprisingly divided. The crossover itself is not the issue — players are excited about the idea — but the timing of the announcement has stirred debate. Over the past several months, developer Infold Games has faced growing criticism over controversial updates, communication issues, and its recent strong stance against game leaks.
Back in April, update 1.5 frustrated many players by introducing changes that altered story elements and increased the grind for completing outfits. This led to a wave of protests, with some players even launching a “girlcott” campaign after community discussions about boycotting appeared to be restricted on official channels. Although Infold later addressed a few concerns, much of the community remained dissatisfied.
The latest spark came earlier this week when Infold posted a lengthy statement denouncing leaks, declaring that “leaks are poison to all creation.” The studio announced it had launched investigations and would take legal action against those responsible. While some players agreed that leaks harm the development process, many felt the message was overly harsh and failed to address deeper frustrations around communication and transparency.
For now, players will have to wait until September 1 to see exactly how this farm-fueled adventure takes shape.
