After Kai Cenat, IShowSpeed might be the next big name to join Fortnite’s Icon Series.

In a recent stream, the popular creator dropped what looked like his clearest hint yet, fueling speculation that Epic Games could be preparing to bring him into the game. Fans have been picking up on smaller teases since last month, but this latest moment feels like the most direct nod so far.
During the broadcast, Speed casually mentioned Fortnite before stopping himself and winking several times at the camera. “Speaking of Fortnite…I don’t want to say anything, but let me just do this,” he said.
He didn’t confirm anything outright, but the gesture was enough to get the community buzzing. Considering Fortnite’s long history of collaborating with top creators, it’s not hard to see why people think this is more than just a joke.
Speed’s rise makes him a natural fit for the Icon Series. He currently commands over 45 million YouTube subscribers, alongside tens of millions of followers on TikTok, Instagram, and Twitch. His viral reactions, global tours, and even athletic stunts against professional players have made him one of the most recognizable internet personalities today. And let’s not forget his early Fortnite streams were a huge part of what helped him blow up in the first place.
Looking at the lineup of creators already in the game: Ninja, Loserfruit, Lachlan, TheGrefg, Lazarbeam, Bugha, Chica, Ali-A, MrBeast, Khaby Lame, Nick Eh 30, El Rubius, Kai Cenat, and Mr. Savage, it’s clear Epic has no problem spotlighting internet stars.
Right now, Fortnite is wrapping up its Fortnitemares Halloween event, which featured celebrity skins like Doja Cat and Jenna Ortega’s Wednesday Addams, alongside horror icons such as Jason Voorhees. Once November arrives, we will see the Simpsons mini-season along with the next wave of collaborations.
