Bungie has officially confirmed that Marathon will launch on March 5, 2026, and unveiled an impressive lineup of 33 English voice actors for the upcoming extraction shooter.

The lineup includes some of the most recognizable names in gaming, making this one of the most stacked casts in recent memory.

Leading the charge is Jennifer English, who recently won Best Performance at The Game Awards 2025 for her role in Clair Obscur: Expedition 33. English is no stranger to critically acclaimed projects, having also portrayed Shadowheart in Baldur's Gate 3 and appeared in Elden Ring as Latenna.

According to reports, Bungie plans to deliver Marathon’s story in a different way compared to its past titles. Unlike Halo or Destiny, the game won’t rely heavily on cinematic cutscenes. Instead, narrative elements will unfold through missions, collectibles, and community-driven events. Each of the six Runners will have distinct personalities and voices, ensuring players get to know them through gameplay rather than traditional storytelling.

Bungie has also confirmed that Marathon will feature fully localized dialogue for all supported languages, with additional language casts to be announced later.

With pre-orders now open. The game arrives on PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and PC.
