Marvel Rivals Adds Five New Lesser-Known Heroes According to Dataminers

Marvel Rivals rumored characters

Marvel Rivals continues to build momentum since its December 2024 release, with new heroes being added to its growing roster. Recent findings from dataminers have uncovered five new characters coming to the game, though they aren't the big-name superheroes many fans might have expected.

According to information shared by popular leaker XOXLEAK on social media, dataminers discovered five new heroes and their ability names in the game's files. The new characters reportedly include two tanks (Hive and Armor), one DPS (Amaranth), and two supports (White Fox and Forge).

Many players have expressed disappointment with this lineup, as most of these characters remain relatively unknown even to dedicated Marvel fans. Hive is described as a monstrous creation of the villainous organization HYDRA, while Armor is a Japanese mutant who possesses psionic abilities that create a powerful protective shield around her body.

Amaranth, a character who only gained prominence in 2024, is a magic user trained by the Scarlet Witch. White Fox brings shape-shifting and supernatural abilities to the table as a Korean hero, and Forge is known for his extraordinary intelligence and skills as an inventor and engineer.

In addition to the new heroes, the leak mentioned several character pairings for future team-ups, including Rocket with Peni, Luna with Hawkeye, Venom with Jeff, and Punisher with Black Widow. There was also mention of a Hela and Loki pairing.

The report included updates about new store content, including a "Peach Momoko Demon Days" combo bundle and a Season 2 PlayStation Plus bundle that is reportedly already available.

Game adjustments mentioned include a Hero Proficiency overhaul for Conquest/Doom Match modes and new outfits for several characters, including a punk-themed "Mohawk Rock" look for Storm.

As the game continues to evolve, fans will be watching closely to see if these datamined heroes make their official debut.
